CHAPTER 218:NONE OF MY BUSINESS
"Have you heard about the requirements ma'am?"Milka asked politely.
"Yeah I heard, I don't know if they want the marriage certificate to show that one is married or the want my husband to be present?" Ivana sked herself.
"I really don't know, but you can explain to Mama Teresia about that, she is not a bad person you know," Mila said.
"But you know Milka, adaption requires valid documents not explainations," she said.
"Okay then let's go with Charo to the children's home. Let him act as your husband just for formalities Ma'am. I really want you to adapt that baby." Milka said.
"That's a perfect idea, bit do you know that We visited the children's home with Charo. I think Mama Teresia will remember him, I didn't introduce him as my husband remember?"Ivana said.
"What will we do now?"Milka asked worriedly.
"Don't worry I think by tomorrow morning or afternoon I will have known what to do because I am going to take the baby tomorrow," Ivana said.
"Can I tag along ma'am," she asked politely.
"Ofcourse yes, if you won't then who will carry the baby for me?"
Milka smiled to herself after hearing what Ivana said. She live it that Ivana is her boss and they do get along very well like sisters.

Mish decided that she will spend the night at the mansion with the girls. She was scared to sleep alone in the apartment despite the fact that she had neighbors.
So when they arrived at the mansion, they found a car parked at the compound. Mish remembered seeing that car driving out of the mansion some months back with Ivana. Ivana had said that it belonged to her mother in-law.
So when she alighted from the car, she had already planned on lying to her company CEO and Ivana's mother in-law. She walked towards her, she was sitter in the house porch.
"Hello boss Madam, what brings you here?" She asked while greeting her with respect
"Hello Mish, do you live here?" Mrs Wechuli asked.
"Mmh, no actually I am here to see my cousin Ivana is she in?" Mish asked.
"I don't know I have asked her maids and they have told me that they haven't seen her from yesterday. Do you have an idea where she might have gone?" Mrs Wechuli asked worriedly.
"What? She never told me anything? I called her today morning and she told me that she is just in the house what do they mean that she is not in?" Mish asked seriously.
"Can you check in her room? Maybe the maids have just lied to me. I really want to talk to her you know my son, her husband is not in the country. He is the one who was pressurizing me to check on her. He doesn't believe me when I tell him that she is fine," Mrs Wechuli said.
Mish walked in the mansion while calling Ivana's name. She climbed the stairs and checked the all rooms in pretence. She then walked back to the porch and informed Mrs Wechuli.
"Unfortunately ma'am my cousin is not in, all the rooms are closed," Mish said in pretence.
She dialed her number in pretence and Missed one number.
"Unfortunately ma'am her number is out of service,"Mish said.
"But I have just called her, some thirty minutes ago and she was not picking my call. I wrote a text message but she is yet to reply," Mrs Wechuli said.
"I really don't know what had happened, but when I get her on the line I will inform her about you,"Mish said to cut the story short.
"Okay thank you, I will be on my way now. Hope you left your father at home? I am going to visit him, there is something I want to ask him in private," she said as she stood up and left for her car.
Mish didn't know what to answer because she was not fr home. She had managed to fool her about Ivana but now she had no idea on what to tell her about her dad. She just nodded on her ad continued standing at the house porch, looking at Mrs Wechuli as she drives out.
Mish sighed a relief when Mrs Wechuli have left the compound. She prayed that her visiting should not be about the legal papers or else her father is doomed.
"Ma'am Mish why did you lie to her about ma'am Ivana?" Stacy asked when she pumbed into Mish in the sitting room.
"It's a long story Stacy,I will appreciate if you mind your own business okay. Just now you know, you should not let anyone know about Ivana's whereabouts okay?"
"Yes Ma'am Mish, I am sorry," Stacy said then left hurriedly to the kitchen.
She walked to the kitchen and found Rhoda preparing supper for the whole people in the mansion. Gloria and Nekesa were cutting the Vegetables. She sat at the kitchen table and looked at how Gloria and Nekesa were cutting the Vegetables. She felt so special and felt like she was the one supervising them.
She looked at Rhoda and cleared her throat ready to strike a conversation.
"By the way Rhoda can I ask you something?"
Rhoda looked at her then nodded her head.
"How long have you worked in this mansion?" She asked.
Rhoda was surprised with that kind of question because no one has ever asked her about that. This was the first time,she smiled then asked Stacy,Not that long,Why do you ask?"
"I just wanted to know, it's nothing really. Do you know the woman that was seated in the house porch when we come in? She looks extremely wealthy," Stacy said then pouted her mouth.
"She is Ivana's mother in-law, I guess this was her second time looking for ma'am Ivana. She wanted to talk to her," Rhoda replied.
"Why didn't you tell her about ma'am Ivana being in the hospital?" Stacy asked like someone who was surprised.
Gloria and Nekesa looked at her surprised with the way she was talking to the Rhoda the senior maid in the mansion.
"It's none of my business Stacy, I am trying to stay in my lane. For your information ma'am Ivana warned us not tell her about her whereabouts. If you want more information about that, I guess you should ask ma'am Ivana the next time you see her."
The reply from Rhoda embarassed her, so she stood up and started to arrange the table in the kitchen because dinner was almost ready.
