CHAPTER 211:SEARCHING.
When the girls arrived at home,Mish was already there waiting for them. She was busy on her mobile phone, just scrolling through and reading the old text messages that Mike texted her. 'Will I be able to wait for five years Mike,I do miss you everyday,' She thought and sighed.
Milka walked towards her and said.
"Ma'am Mish,Ma'am Ivana have told me to give you the key and pack her some clothes. Can I help you with the parking?" Milka asked as she handed her the key.
"No need Milka I will just do it myself, besides Ivana wants a few clothes, thanks anyway," Mish said as she stood up and left for her room first.
She took out the clothes she needed from her wardrobe and the shoes from the shoes rack. She packed them in the suitcase then dragged it downstairs before coming to Ivana's room. Now that she have gotten the opportunity to search Ivana's bedroom, she was not ready to waste the chance.
She confirmed if anyone was following her or anyone was downstairs. She opened Ivana's bedroom, and she was amazed to how Ivana have transformed her bedroom. It looks like a royal room, everything there secreamed wealth. Starting from the king sized bed to the mosquito net, to the hardwood mahogany wardrobe. 'I won't allow this to confuse me,' she thought. Then started searching for the legal papers that her father had once told her. She opened the drawers that were on the Ivana's wardrobe but she didn't find anything.
She continued searching for the legal papers from other drawers and places she thought Ivana could have hidden them. Still she didn't find what she was searching for.
There was only one drawer that Mish haven't checked yet and she haven't seen the drawer neither. She was almost giving up with the search when she spotted the drawer that had the bed lamp on. She smiled to herself thinking that finally she was going to get the legal documents that her father was searching for. She walked towards those drawers but unfortunately for her they were locked.
She cursed inwardly and trying breaking them but realized that Ivana will know that she was the only person she had send on her room. She didn't want Ivana to be suspecious of her or to be got. So she thought of asking Milka if she knows where Ivana keeps the keys to those drawers but again she didn't want Milka to be suspecious of her.
She sighed experatedly then stood up and walked to the wardrobe to pack the clothes and pairs of shoes Ivana had send her. Her heart was very heavy as she turned everytime and looked at those drawers.
After packing all the needed clothes and shoes, she thought of taking some sling bags and pulse Ivana might be in need of them.
"Let me open and check what is inside in this sling bag,"she murmured to herself as she noticed one of the sling bag was heavy.
When she opened she found a bunch of keys and some credit cards. The credit cards belonged to Ivana's dad, because it had his names.
'I wonder how rich you are Ivana,I wish I knew the password to this credit cards. I would have gone and withdrawn all the amount I ever dreamed about,' he smirked then returned the cards in the sling bag.
She took the bunch of keys, she was about to walk to that drawer when a knock came on the door. She returned the keys in the bag hurriedly and walked to the door to check who was disturbing her plans.
"Ma'am Mish when you are done I have packed you some mangoes. Ivana have called me just now and told me." Milka said.
"Ivana called you?" Mish asked surprised.
"Yes, she said that you were not picking up your phone that's why," Milka replied.
"My bad, I left my mobile phone downstairs in the sling bag," she replied after confirming that she didn't have her mobile phone.
"Can I help you with the pa..?"
"No Milka I am done don't worry," Mish said cutting her off. She then closed the door on her face without waiting for her reply.
Milka found it strange with how Mish have behaved,she didn't have much to talk about or think so she walked back to the kitchen to prepare supper for everyone.
Mish walked back to the drawer and searched through the bunch of keys, trying to find out the key to the drawer. After tirelessly searching she was able to open the drawer, she pulled the drawer slowly with a smile. The smile was smugly because she felt like she was triumphant to what she was searching for.
In the drawer only two brown evelopes were in, both of them were in sealed. The first envelope she pulled out was Ivana's divorce papers. She perused through looking if both of them had signed, but she found out only Paul had signed ,Ivana haven't signed. She returned the envelope inside then took the other envelope. When she read the documents that were inside. They were the papers that Ivana had wanted to present them to the lawyer. She was trying to see if the company would be given to her.
Although they were not the one Mish was searching for, they were linked to the company. So she took the photos then send them to her dad. She returned the envelope then looked the drawers the way it was. She packed the clothes to the Ivana's suitcase and picked several flat shoes then locked the room and left.
She found the mangoes that Milka had informed her on the table and left. She dragged the two suitcase to the car that Charo was patiently waiting for her,She sat inside and left.
She checked her cell phone and found two missed calls from Ivana. She called her back and informed her that she was on her way.
She then texted her dad, informing him to check the photos that she had send him and know if they were important. She deleted the photos and texts that can make some one become suspecious of her.
