CHAPTER 179:WRONG WITH ME?
Although her heart was beating so fast she continued to stand there because she wanted to show her father that she was telling the truth and she is not scared of him or to die.
Mr Mukhongo looked at Mish who continued closing her eyes. He grabbed her hair that was tied in pony tail style and dragged her along to her bedroom.
"Dad you are hurting me what's wrong with you?" She said as she tried reaching Mr Mukhongo's hand that was holding her hair in tight grib.
"Wrong with me? I need those documents Mish. I don't want Mr Wechuli thinking that I want to take over the company because it used to belong to my brother." He said as he pushed the door to Mish's room open with the kick from his leg.
"What does that have to do with me? I even never knew that you had those documents here in the house?" She asked with annoyance.
"You might have picked them Mish. Knowingly or unknowingly. I can't undermine you Mish, the information that you had told. I person might think that you are an NIS- National intelligence Services.
"Really dad,just trust and believe what I am telling you right now. I didn't pick those documents, and I never knew that you had them." Mish said.
"Then how did you know that your mother was searching for them?"Mr Mukhongo asked.
"It was during that time that Ivana was searching for any document to support her in the case about the company. She told mum to search for the in your bedroom back then in the mansion." Mish explained.
Mr Mukhongo looked at her with scrutinizing eyes then said.
"We are going to search in your room and if I found out that you hide them. You will cease being my daughter from today." Mr Mukhongo said as he pushed Mish in.
He let go of her hair then started to open the drawer. The oy thing he found was Mish's academic certificates and her photo album. Mish helped him to search everycorner of the room but their efforts were futile.
After Mr Mukhongo was satisfied that he had searched everycorner of the room. He stood up and looked at Mish with his hands akimbo. Then he kneeled down on both knees and looked and Mish.
"I am begging you Mish if you took those documents. Kindly return them to me before Mrs Wechuli realize that they got lost. If she realizes I can end up to jail hunny please." He begged surprising his daughter.
"Dad what are you doing, I told you that I didn't even know that those kind of papers existed in the house. When we moved in here, I don't remember entering your room. Perhaps I only spent here only one or two nights then I went to upcountry. You knowe dad, I can't pick documents without enquiring from you.
"I am truly doomed now, I don't know what I will te her when she asks for them?" Mr Mukhongo said as he stood up. "Who might have taken them if not you Mish?"
"I am telling you dad that I really don't know. When I returned from the upcountry I only lived here one week or so then left for the mansion. Maybe Brenda and Thomas took them as a way of punishing you?" Mish asked.
"No they never accessed my room. I used to close them everytime.
"I didn't take them either if you used to lock your room everytime. How was I able to enter your bedro dad?"
"I really don't know I was just being paranoid. I thought that since you are the only one who is able to know my secret without even telling her."
"I am sorry dad but I not that disrespectful girl that can snick to her parents room." She said as she walked to main door ready to leave.
"Where are you going? I thought that you are going to stay here for a week." Mr Mukhongo asked.
"Back to the mansion dad I would have stayed but no, let me give you space to think properly. Where you might have left or kept those documents." Mish said as she left without even saying bye.
'if you didn't take those documents then who did? How much do you know about me Mish? I wish I had just killed you right now but since you are my only daughter and the only person to carry on my lineage I will spare you.'If those papers gets to Ivana's hands will I be able to look at her straight in the eyes. How will I explain that I knew everything that had happened but decided to keep quite.'
He stood up and left to pour himself an alcoholic drink,he drunk the first glass in one gulp.
"I hope that this woman doesn't know about me loosing the documents. Else I am one hundred percent sure that I am going to spend the rest of my life in jail. I know very well that Carol won't hesitate to hand over the evidence to the police. Now the whole world know that I am the one who killed my wife." He soleloquezid alone as she walked walked back to the couch.
"If things runs out of my hand, I have numerous cars now. I will have to sell the cars the fly to another country! Hahaaa hahaaa ! That's a brilliant idea. That's exactly what I will have to do.

Mish was so fortunate that she found a taxi immediately she arrived at the main road. She boarded a taxi that returned hlim the th mansion.
'Why is dad si worried, scare and concerns about the legal documents that showed my une sd the company to Mrs Wechuli? There is something that he is hiding from me. I don't know if to te Ivana or not but now that she is pregnant. This is not a good idea, she might miscarry because of things to with the company. Let me just help her build another empire. I wi tell her when the time is right.' Mish thought as she looked outside the window as the taxi moved.
