CHAPTER 142:VISITING HOME OF....
Ivana approached Charo who was helping the mall attendants to pack the shopping in the car boot. She murmured something in his ears and Charo nodded. He dialed his phone and after one minute the bodyguards appeared they were just in the vicinity.
Fortunately for them the bodyguard's car had a big car boot so the other shopping was put in the bodyguard's car.
"Thank you for your help" Ivana appreciated the Mall attendants after they have finished placing the shopping in the boot.
"All pleasure is ours ma'am, thank you for shopping with us"
And with that Ivana entered the car and Charo drive them to Home of Peace children's home.
"Mama Teresia will be surprised to see us you know. Remember I haven't called to inform her to expect the visitors"Milka chuckled nervously
"Are you nervous?" Ivana noticed. "Don't worry, we are just going to see the kids nothing big to worry about." She said as she caressed Milka's thump.
When they arrived the children were playing outside in different sections.The youngest one were swinging, the ten years of age and above, some were skipping rope while others moving the used tires around.
They come to a standstill when they saw two expensive cars moving inside.They grouped themselves together and looked on. They were amazed and some of them started waving at Ivana and Milka. Though the car windows were tinted, Ivana rolled the window down and waved back.
The commotion of kids made the manager of the children home to come and see what was happening at the children's playground or open area. Mama Teresia was the one who come, at that moment Milka and Ivana were stepping out of the car.
Milka run to hug Mama Teresia, it was emotional hug. Ivana walked towards them and also Mama Teresia Pulled them both in her arms.
"Milka, you decide to give us surprise visit?we have missed you so much, how are you? I see you are glowing!" Hahaaa they both loved the way Mama Teresia was so anxious to bombered her with alot of questions.
"First of all Mama,I want to introduce you to my boss,Miss Ivana. She is a kind and a very generous woman,she is the one behind this idea."Milka said excitedly.
"Welcome so much ma'am,thank you for taking good care of our girl Milka. The way she is looking right now, it clearly shows that you are a good woman."
Mama Teresia Pulled her in a tight hug again. Before even Ivana could say anything.Not that tight because she already knew that she was pregnant. She kissed her on the cheek showing appreciation.
The hug made her very emotional and tried to think how it feels to have a mother. How her mother will be happy to hug her when she returned home the day she found her husband in bed with another woman.But she wiped away tears before they unlocked from the hug.
"I am sorry that I didn't welcome you inside, I guess I was excited to see you our visitors. Welcome inside,and may the Lord protect you over this journey and give you safe delivery" Mama Teresia said to Ivana.
Ivana looked at her then smiled as she said thank you. They walked inside the office ofcourse Mama Teresia leading the way.
Charo and the bodyguards prevented children from touching the mirrors. So the children continued staring and the cars and the well built men standing near them.
Ivana and Milka and Ivana were welcomed in a small office of Mama Teresia who offered them tea but Ivana was not in the mood of eating anything. Perhaps being hugged by Mama Teresia lovingly made her maid be in a whirlpool as she thought how her mother would have hugged her.
"No, mama Teresia actually we just visited with something small to say hello to the kids and I just wanted to know where she was raised" Ivana said as she refused to take the cup of tea from her.
"Is that so, thank you for your generosity Ma'am Ivana" She said as she returned the flask.
"It's nothing Mama, then kindly just call me Ivana you know you are old enough to be my mother" Ivana said politely. She didn't like the fact that an old woman like Mama Teresia was referring to her as Ma'am. She have long ever told Milka to refer to her as Ivana.
"So kindly come with us to the cars as you receive a small shopping from us...
"No, from you Ivana you are the one who did all the shopping and paid it" Milka chipped in before she could finish.
"But you are the reason I came here Milka so it doesn't matter who paid okay", she Chuckled softly as she stood up.
"Do you have a minute? How about we Prepare kids so that they can sing, dance and do some poetry for you before you leave. Just to show how grateful and happy we are right Ivana?" Mama Teresia said.
Ivana looked at Mama Teresia then at Milka who nodded at her atleast to say yes. She nodded to Mama Teresia who left in hurry to prepare the kids.
She walked to their playground and found them still admiring the cars. She clapped her hands to capture their attention.
"Hello kids, I know you're excited but I want you to be prepared in then minutes I want us to entertain our visitors right?" Mama Teresia said enthusiastically.
"Yes Mama Teresia they said in unison as they run to the hall.
Mama Teresia together with other ladies that helps her manage the children home coordinated together and prepared the kids. This was always a norm whenever a visitor or visitors visits them. They didn't allow them to leave until the kids entertains them.
Milka noticed that Ivana have been spacing out after Mama Teresia left to prepare the kids. She have been talking to her but her minds seemed to be in another place not present with her.
"Ivana Ivana are you okay?" Milka called her name twice to capture her attention.
"Yeah, yeah I am fine, Why ask?"
"You seem disturbed, is something the matter. You can tell me about it." Milka said politely as she stretched her hand and touched Ivana's.
