CHAPTER 121:MR EMMANUEL MUKOYA.
Mrs Wechuli didn't even turn to look at him neither did she say anything. She climbed up the stairs and went to her room. As usual wine was the only drink that always cool her mind. She sat near her room as she stared in space. She had to figure out how to hide that information from Alice, now that she has agreed to invest in the company.
Paul was left seated on the couch in the seating room, confused with furrowed brows. He took his car keys and left, the driver offered to drive him but he refused saying it's personal.
When he reached in his destination he parked his car and walked straight to club oval. The memories came running back to his mind. Before they were married he had saved Ivana from some guys in that club oval.
The way he had broken the door to save her, the way he had carried her like a delicate item and drove her back home. Ivana's face kept on appearing in his face, she was so innocent that time. 'Their was no day I thought that we will be separated because of my silly mistakes, I love you wifey please come back to me' he thought.
He signaled the waiter to bring him whiskey, he wanted to forget everything that had caused him pain. 'I don't know why I don't restrain myself when l am around Slyvia, dies it mean that is meant for me. This is the second time l am cheating on my wife but I don't seem to stop' Paul thought as he sipped his whiskey.
He was already drank with one glass of whiskey, but he kept on taking. Paul's resistance is very low on alcohol, but he didn't care about that. He just wanted to forget everything that have happened. At back of his mind he thought that he had come with his driver.
After drinking two bottles of whiskey Paul was very tipsy. He stood up to leave but staggered and fall down, crashing a table that a certain man was seated at with his body guards.
They wanted to teach him a lesson but their boss didn't allow them. So Paul struggled standing, he had the audacity to holler at the smart dressed man who by that time was standing side way looking at him.
"Wh...at..are..you..sti..to..ll doing here, go and drive my car here" at the back of his mind he thought that he was talking to his driver.
"Punk! Do you have a death wish? You have the audacity to talk to my boss like that?" One of the bodyguard asked him.
Paul staggered as he tried standing he then punked and unfortunately for him,the his punk splashed to the well dressed Mr Emmanuel Mukoya.
"What!"Mr Emmanuel Mukoya exclaimed after his suit was stained by the punk from Paul. His three piece expensive suit.
"This Punk need to be thought a lesson the bodyguard said. Before Mr Emmanuel could intervene his bodyguard had already pushed him in the stomach twice. Paul fall down on the floor as he screamed from the excruciating pain.
The bodyguard was about to step on his chest but luckily someone come to his rescue.
"Sir stop, I am so sorry for the misbehaving of my brother. Please be Magnanimous enough to forgive him" he said.
"Forgiveness you say I ...."
"No, let the man be, let me off" Mr Emmanuel said cutting his bodyguard off.
"Thank you so much sir" the man to the rescue said.
He leaned down and lifted Paul off the ground but unfortunately he had coughed out blood from the punch and Passed out.The man to the rescue was non other than Paul's childhood and best friend Mike Oga.
Mrs Wechuli was staring in her bedroom window, that's how she saw Paul drive out without the driver or the bodyguards. So Mrs Wechuli thought that he was going to see Ivana, maybe to seek for her forgiveness and to try persuading her so that she can come back. It was a private matter so he didn't want the driver but she was wrong.
She waited for almost four hours for him to return back but he didn't see him. So he called his phone but he was unreachable. The first person that came into her mind was Mike, Paul's closest friend. So she called him and asked him if they were together.
Mike had no idea where Paul was, so Mrs Wechuli told him to check Paul and Ivana's Place maybe he was there and things have turned out ugly.
After checking Mike called Mrs Wechuli and told him that Paul was not there. Although he didn't confirm it from Ivana, he just checked over the face and Paul's presence was not there because he spotted Ivana and Milka seated at the balcony alone.
Mrs Wechuli went into a panic mode because Paul was the only son and daughter so she couldn't afford to lose him. That's why she instructed Mike to check all the famous clubs that Paul loves drinking at or the high -end restaurants. Also he send two bodyguard to town to aid mike from searching for their boss.
Mike knows Paul too well so the fast place he checked was club oval and that's where he found him being beaten to the pulp.
So Mike struggled lifting him up and luckily Mrs Wechuli's bodyguards came in to help him. They carried Paul out the club, as they drove to the nearest hospital.
Mike informed Mrs Wechuli that they have found him although he had passed out. When she asked who had the audacity to beat Paul. Mike said that some bodyguards that he didn't recognize. What Mrs Wechuli didn't know was that he bodyguards that beat Paul were under Emmanuel Mukoya, Husband to her best friend Eva Barasa and Slyvia's dad.
They texted him the address of the hospital because Paul needed water drip for him to regain counciousness.
