CHAPTER* 77: l DON'T LIKE SEEING YOUR TEARS.

Mike was relaxing in his house when his longtime friend came to see him. He asked him to accompany him to the county cemetery. Saying that he was unable to attend his father's burial ceremony so he was taking flowers to his grave.

They walked in the cemetery looking for his grave. Mike didn't know which grave they were searching for because John was always mysterious man. He followed behim and he was surprised to see him stop by a familiar grave.

"What do you mean Ivana was here, he said before looking at the cemetery name. When he read the name he was astonished with what he saw.

"What?John you mean she is your sister?"

"Yes she is my youngest sister, but it's a long story let's go before anyone sees us here especially me" John said as he pulled him away.

"John, why can't you look for her and tell her mehn, she will be happy to see you"

"You think so?she doesn't even know that l exist. She won't even believe me,Mike you know l trust you right?, Just take care of her for me. I will tell you everything when it's the right time. And something else don't tell her about me, l will tell her myself."

"When?"

"When the time is right for us to know each other. For now just do me a favour and do as l say okay? You promise?"

"I am promise"

"Don't break your promise, bye." He run taking a different direction from Mike, leaving him confused.'Where is he going now,he is always in hurry berry mysterious.

"Hello, is Paul in?tell him l want to see him" she greeted the secretary.

"Just a minutes boss Madam" she picked the intercom and talked to his boss. When he informed of her presence Paul told him to allow her to enter.

"I didn't know you have this strict rules when someone wants to see you" Ivana said as she entered his office.

"Wifey are you, your eyes are swollen have you been crying?" Paul stood to peck her on her cheeks.

"Do you know anything concerning the Luhyahood Company?" 

"No, why ask? Maybe knowing to whom it belongs to"he chuckled.

"I am not talking about that, she paused and looked at him before saying. "Do you know that your mum is the new CEO now?"

"What?, What do you mean my mother is the new CEO?, How, what happened l don't understand!" Confusionwas visible in his face.

"I am surprised and confused as you, l don't know. What l know is their is a document my dad and your mother signed. My dad had transferred all shares to your mother making her the new CEO when he dies"

"What?, when did these happen, l know my mother can not keep a secret from me, l need to ask her now,you should be the one taking over not her. He picked his phone to call when his phone rung in return.

"Talking of the devil,"he showed the phone screen to her. "Pick the call". He received the call and put it on a loud speaker.

"Hello son, are you busy, l need you to attend the party in Village in resort" she said happily.

"A Party? Why party mum,what happened?"

"Ooh sorry son my bad, l'm the new CEO of the Luhyahood dream Company and that's calls for the celebration, so l need you to be present to celebrate with me.

"Mum you care to explain how this happened?if l remember correctly you never invest....." He didn't finish talking as his mother cut him off.

"You seem you are not happy with my achievement, are you coming or not"

"Mum it not that way, l  will....tot.. tot..tot" she hung up on him.

"She just hung up on me" sigh.

'You ungrateful son, l don't know why God gave me you as my son. I am doing this for you and you don't want to celebrate with me.'

She continued calling different friends in her call contact to invite them to the party . She didn't forget Eva her best friend, she had informed her that she was back in the country. Then called the hotel and booked the entire second floor and the kind of food to be prepared.

"What now?" She raised her one brow.

He run his fingers in his hair," Wifey l really don't know, Take them to court, l will help you with the case and all the charges"

"Really? are you going to go against your mother. Anyway according to documents presented by her. Everything is legal, so l wi still lose it to her. Secondly l am not ready for the publicity. Third l don't have any evidence to start of the case. The lawyer l was counting on is no where to be found"

"So, are you really going to give up, because of the presented documents? What if they are sham papers? Anyway l will follow what you want.

"What did you just say, sham papers? hubby do you know something that l don't know?"

"I was just saying Wifey, don't dwell of that. He tried to change the flow of the story. He was not ready to explain something he have no full information yet.

"You know what l don't understand, is Mum's happiness. She sounds like someone who have been expecting it."

I really don't know, when he come in the company during the board meeting with the lawyer. I thought that she came to support me. My uncle was also interested in the CEO position so l knew l will be in the safe side. Only to be disappointed. Anyway l am happy for her. You know she has long time  experience when it comes to business unlike me." She said with a heavy heart.

Paul was heartbroken seeing her like this. Wifey just a minute let me finish up this.l don't like seeing your precious tears, you need to clear your mind. How about we talk about it over a romantic dinner?"
