28 Chapter 27: Pissed

According to Hades, he travelled on those worlds for almost 50 years making them conclude that on each day he was asleep, his soul already had a 10 year journey. 

For 50 years, he saw different kinds of despair, making Nina understand why she feels Hades is different. His body now contains an old soul! 

"What are you thinking?" Hades asked when he saw Nina widen her already big eyes

"I just realized that I'm dating an old man" 

Hades laughed at her remark "haven't you realized that before?" 

Technically speaking, their bodies has a 10 year gap, now their soul has several years difference, cool

"Should I call you grandpa then?" Nina teasingly said

"Dare, so when our children come out, I will show you what a grandpa can do"  Hades smirked

Nina looked at him confusedly then hit him after realizing what he meant "When the children are out, you sleep in the other room!" Nina said then she angrily stomped her way back inside the house

Since the night Nina and Hades talked about their previous lives, they seem to have pierced the wall of awkwardness in between them. They can now hit each other, err, she means she can now hit Hades without any psychological shadow because she knows that of all the people in this world, only him knows who she really is,so why should she be awkward? He already knew her stupidity, her greatest shame, and her biggest regret. She doesn't need to be polite anymore. 

And another thing that changed since then was Hades' sleeping room. He shamelessly stays in Nina's room in the excuse that he doesn't want her to sneak inside her space alone. He knew that she wanted to plant inside her space but he resolutely turned down the idea unless she would bring him there to do the work. 

Nina then ruthlessly allowed him to also work inside her space even though he is already working in their backyard every morning, Hades still needs to work inside her space at night. Well, it was not really hard for Hades because aside from the fact that 1 hour inside her space is only 10 minutes outside, the spiritual essence inside her space can alleviate fatigue. 

Now, both their backyard and her space are beaming with crops. Although the backyard's crops are still a lot smaller than the ones in her space, which they have harvested several times already, it can be said that Hades has taken care of it really well. 

Hades has a few paper works coming from his company because according to him, his dad told him that he would 'sacrifice' their honeymoon for the sake of their grandchildren. 

"Nina" she heard Hades calling her then suddenly she felt his arms around her waist

"What?!" Nina pretended to be angry, Hades smiled at her childish reaction then he squeezed her nose "Let's go somewhere tonight?" 

"Where do you plan to go at night?" Nina curiously asked. It's already June so it's already warm outside, but during the night it was much cooler which is a perfect time to walk. 

"It's a surprise" Hades mysteriously said "So, are you coming with me?" 

"What if I say I don't want to?" Nina, who is leaning her head at Hades' chest, didn't see the sudden panic on Hades' eyes

"Actually, mom invited us for dinner tonight" 

"Why didn't you tell me earlier?" even though Nina felt a little cold due to Hades' mom's approach towards her only son during the jailing scene, she can't help but feel grateful for the warmth that she gave her. Karen is an upright, strong woman who upholds justice and loves her to the point that she feels she is her real mother. 

Karen and Cronos frequently visit them when they have a chance. Karen and Nina will talk about how Karen renovated Hades' room to become a nursery room when they visit the capital, and how she sorted the baby albums of Hades which she intends to show Nina on the day they visit. 

Previously, Nina crossed out the idea of going back to the capital, but Hades also has a life there. She can't be too selfish, besides, their children will also grow up and study and she knew that when it comes to education, the capital has more to offer than a country town. But these things will be considered after a few years, for the meantime, she wants to enjoy this peaceful life they have. 

"let's go now?" Hades asked

"I thought it was for dinner? It's only 2pm! Why are we going this early?" 

"Mom said she also wants to have tea with you" 

"Fine, I'll just prepare" 

"You prepare inside" 

"Why?" what Hades say is, she should prepare inside her space

"Because if here, we can arrive at the place before midnight snack" Hades said which earned him an ear pinch

"sleep in your room tonight!" Nina angrily said, where did her nice and gentle Hades went? Why was he set to pissing her off today? 

Nina just prepared herself. She took a bath in her space. Her space now has a bathroom and shower and the water comes from the pond which became bigger after Hades took care of the space. Hades was the one who installed everything, including the new small house. 

She doesn't know the place where they are going so she just  chose a casual long maxi dress which hides her small baby bump. It's not that she is ashamed of her babies, she just thought to wear this dress because this is one of the several clothes that Hades' mom bought for her. She really hopes that one of the twins is a daughter so Hades' mom would stop dressing her up like a doll, she will just throw her daughter to her grandma and let her grandma dress her to her heart's content.

When Nina walked out of the room, she saw Hades wearing sky blue long sleeves and black pants. He isn't wearing a coat but that didn't lessen his handsome appearance. Ever since Hades stayed with her, Nina almost forgot that the man beside her is the president of the largest company in the capital because she always sees him in a pair of jogging pants and shirt in the morning, and jersey shorts and shirt at night. Now that she sees him in casual wear, she feels her eyes are feasting with a new dish. 

Hades stopped for a while when he saw Nina then he smiled like a teenage boy who will bring his date to the prom "let's go?" 

When Nina heard Hades' voice, she remembered that she was angry at him a while ago so she decided to start a cold war with him and ignored him.

Nina walked towards the car without looking at Hades. 

Now, Hades is thinking, did he overdone it? According to the script that his mother and Alice gave him, he should piss Nina but it seems Nina wasn't pissed but mad! Would this give a negative impact later? Hopefully not!
