77 WAITING FOR HER (1)

The helicopter landed on the helipad at the base where the doctors and nurses we're on stand by they took Anna straight to the theatre they need to that her as soon as possible. Mu Yazhe and Mu Shinn were waiting outside the shadow guards were told to go home and wait and Mu Yazhe would inform them of what was happening and uncle and Att wanting to go as well but they were told by Mu Shinn that the military hospital he was still getting clearance so, for now, they were best to head back to where they came from Anna father stayed he and Master Isaac had a lot to discuss so they headed to a suitable place to talk. Anna was in theatre for over 6 hours while Mu Yazhe was pacing the corridors he couldn't understand why they were taking so long.

The light went off outside the theatre the surgeons walked out they looked at both men and spoke.

Doctor:" what the hell happened to the girl General Shinn she that many injuries I couldn't understand what was going on"

Mu Shinn:" I know doctor she was attacked by some thugs"

Doctor:" she lucky she is alive we had to resuscitate her twice while dealing with all her injuries I have done my best the next 24 hours are critical for injuries are very severe"

Mu Yazhe:" C..can I see her please"

Doctor:" she is in ICU we have to monitor her it's very critical if she makes it through the night we will begin recovery tomorrow just pray now"

Mu Yazhe yelled:" what! What you mean to make it through the night "

Doctor:" sorry young man but that's the truth" the Doctor pointed to the ICU.

Mu Yazhe ran and opened the door Anna was lying there with wires and tubes coming out of her she was sound asleep Mu Yazhe walked to touch her the nurse stopped him and ask him to stay where he was. Mu Shinn walked in behind him he asked the nurse to let him go forward she asked him to sterile himself before he enters the room Mu Shinn stood and looked from the glass window outside. He prayed that she would pull through he didn't want anything to happen to his little Meimei he was feeling guilty he couldn't protect her he promised Mu Zain he would look after her he failed in that too. Mu Shinn rung Anthony the first ring the phone was answered.

Anthony:" how is my baby girl"

Mu Shinn:" Hello to you too! Anna is in ICU the Doctor said the next 24 hours are critical"

Anthony words came out choked:" what she was fine she just collapsed how is she in critical"

Ed:" We are coming"

Mu Shinn:" I am not going to stop you from coming I have cleared all of you to enter the base I will inform the hospital and get your passes"

Ed:" okay see you soon"

Mu Shinn:" where are the triplets"

Ed:" They are with Amelia and Ting Ju they all gone to the old mansion to your grandparents Mu Yazhe parents are there too they are safe it was best they kept asking for Anna and Yazhe"

Mu Shinn:" okay that's good see you soon bye"

In the ICU Mu Yazhe walked over he stroked Anna hair he moved it out of her face gently stroke her face he places the hand that didn't have a tube in his hand and gently kissed it. He kissed her cheek Anna had a tube in her mouth so he couldn't kiss her lips.

He whispered:" Little Demon you find a new way of hiding from me only you can find unique ways to running away"

He smiled at her and remembered when she was getting a beaten she was smiling like somebody was tickling her she really knew how to get under your skin he thought she lives in each part of his body. He didn't know when or how he fell in love with her. Anna affected him deeply her kiss send ripples down his spine her touch was gentle but deadly it woke his inner desires. He has been around a lot of glamorous women who tried to seduce him but he didn't react he was known as the cold icy prince desired by many women but he only desired one she was his sleeping beauty. He watched her as she slept he was very panicked when he walked in but seeing her called him down but he was still a little anxious another waking up. The nurse walked into check the monitors she looked over at the gorgeous looking man sat on the chair Holding the lady's hand she couldn't help be a little jealous of Anna she thought she has a gorgeous man sat next to her and the good looking men outside she is surrounded by all these heartthrobs.

Nurse:" Sir you know that if you can talk to the patient she can still hear you"

Mu Yazhe:" hmmm"

The nurse just looked at him and thought a man of little words as she walked out in the corridor as she seen more people turn up they were older but still good looking she thought with the security personnel with them they must be important people and the one in lying in there must be important too. She went to her office.

Outside the shadow, guards had arrived behind them were Uncles and Master Isaac, Grandma and behind them was Anna's father and brothers, grandparents.

Mu Shinn just looked shocked and pleased with the same time he was seeing people who had not spoken to each other for over so many years to be gathered in one place not that they were all talking to one another it was all due to Anna his angel/ demon Meimei. The elders gathered in the Doctor office and demanded he tells him in detail of what was happening with Anna's. After the doctor explained in detail they were left shocked at the severity of Anna's injuries. What they couldn't understand how she was still running around even when she was severely injured. The doctor explained she was running on her adrenaline because of physically and mentally she is very fit she was able to push her body before she collapsed. The Doctor also told the that the next 24 hours are critical if she wakes up if not she could go into a coma. Leaving everyone in a daze they all had there ghost they need to get rid of by apologising to Anna so she had to wake up they all had to lot to make up for.

The shadow guards moved in the to the background but stayed closed the weren't going anywhere until Anna wasn't ou of danger.

Anthony:" my baby girl will be alright she's a fighter"

Ed:" of course she will sweet pea has to be okay she has been keeping me alive all these years after I lost everything"

Anthony:" I know bro every time it gets bad you just need to see her smile and it's all forgotten"

Uncle Jack:" hey guys my baby girl is going to be alright"

Ed:" Hey Jack what did the doctor say"

Uncle Jack:" baby girl going to be fine she the toughest one amongst us"

Anthony:" yeh you right she is the backbone that holds all together"

Ed:" Anna arrived when I thought all my world was lost and in despair, she held my big hand in her little hand and said, "Uncle, it's going to get a better look I am okay after Mummy left you will be okay too I will look after you come with me" I don't why but I just let her drag me and here we are today"

Anthony:" yeah I remember she did the same for me she smiled and those big blue eyes looked like two big stars shining bright and her big smile makes you smile and you left wondering why you are smiling she is my Little Angel"

Uncle Jack:" she did I was at the lowest point and I didn't think I could go on she came over she wiped my tears and kissed my forehead and said" uncle I love you so much you've lost Auntie and little baby and I lost Mummy so we are the same and I need you will you take care of me like Mummy would and love me like Mummy did Amelia stood behind Anna swinging her feet too shy and cried I asked her why you are crying because you crying" have chuckled a little at the memory.

He hugged her they stayed close to Anna and rebuild their life around Anna. Anna managed to help them heal their wounds that deal with their losses. Each one of the shadow guards had a unique story of their own with Anna how they entered her life and why they stayed and became so loyal to her they all apart from Li Jannan or (so they all thought)came from some sort of broken background over time Anna helped the heal gave them somewhere to call home and they learned to love each other as one big family.

The elders all sat on the waiting room which was given to them to stop from blocking the corridor. They were all deflated with the information the doctor gives them they were still trying to understand.

First uncle Jimmy:" father what happen how did you end up there I only seen you two days ago"
