52 You Are Lying

Su Wan had just reached the door when Jing Chen grabbed her and pulled her back.

Questions followed.

"Why are you making decisions on your own? Didn't I say to wait?"

"Su Wan, why didn't I realize that you were such a smart person in the past? Do you know what the consequences will be if you say anything?!"

"You can't afford it!"

Jing Chen gritted his teeth and said the last words word by word. He was obviously furious.

But none of this mattered to Su Wan.

She tilted her head and said calmly, "Why are you angry? I'm not like you. I'm a person who keeps my promises, so I took responsibility for all my mistakes in front of Grandpa. Grandpa loves me and dotes on me, so he didn't teach me a lesson."

With that, she rolled her eyes and said disdainfully, "Rest assured. I'm not as evil as you. I didn't even put you in front of Grandpa."

Even though she said that, how could Su Wan not want to trick him?
