5: Human or a monster?

Everything in this era was different, nothing was similar to what it used to be thousand years ago, not even humans existed in this world, and there was no trace of a normal person.

Whoever came into her sight, was either crossbred between animals or were either weird aliens, with different textures and bodies that resemble nothing like humans. Was the era of humans ending? no, it should be better to say that there were no humans in this era.

Nuri followed the directions, there were many shops on the street sides, restaurants, and whatnot, seems like aliens were no different from humans when it comes to keeping their living necessities.

' Hey! Earlier and before that, I drank blood from a fresh source. You said that I am a pure human. But actions like mine that I did earlier, what's the difference between me and a monster? I also did what a monster would do to an innocent. I am confused about many things '.

The staff member standing in front of her had a mouse-like face, a pretty sharp nose with that pink bop on the top, much longer hair around her mouth, and big thin tails behind her lower waist, stuck in the upper part of her butt, not to mention that dark grey color skin and body tone, black hair and dress in formal wear, it was some kind of dress code she thought.

Nuri wanted to scream right now. As much as she was ridiculed, she was amazed at well. She just looked at her for a little bit and lower her eyes immediately. After all, she had a monster hidden inside, the moment she will make eye contact, the monster might come out, so she was being careful. Because she can't afford to get caught in here.

Nuri could feel the woman was looking at her in expectation to know her preference for clothes. And Nuri had to get the clothes and then leave this place immediately.

But the mouse like a woman was twinkling her eyes like a star and waiting. But...she was a little suspicious of this customer because the customer was dressed completely from head to toe, like a thief or something.

" How can I help you? ", She asked again.

" Umm! Do you have black pants and crop tops that will go along with the pants? It will be good if it's in black. And yes...A black jacket as well. Now since we are already on it, I am sure you also have some face masks to go along with the dress. So...would you like to show me your recommendations? ".

Nuri put all her thoughts in one go with that fake voice of hers. The staff member was stunned, but then lead the way with a smile on her face. Yeah...of course, Nuri wasn't allowed to see her face. But the problem was with eye contact, as long as she does not make eye contact, she could look anywhere.

All the people in the shop were looking at her. And why not? It was a summer-like day, hot and heat waves everywhere, not everyone had the guts or desired to dress so warmly, not wanting to become a hot potato on a day like this.

And that's why the people were staring at her, she was dressed fully this summer day which grabbed everyone's attention.

Nuri was standing there all alone while the staff woman was doing her task to take out everything which fit the criteria of what Nuri said.
