Hell's Fire Hound
Arf! Arff!
The hound wags its fiery tail happily upon noticing Ekhael's stare. It looked at its unfamiliar owner with innocent and excitement on its face.
The black hound doesn't know how or why but it could feel a strange closeness towards the two-legged creature in front of him.
As if the two-legged creature in front of him is his blood parent.
Arf!! Arf!!
Ekhael who was staring at the expectant hound on the ground don't know what to do.
He wanted to pet the innocent hound but he was afraid that his hand would burn upon contact with its black with a hint of red metallic stripe skin. Just the temperature alone near the hound makes his skin dry then how about petting it?
"What to do?" he mumbled in a conflicted manner.
As Ekhael was thinking of a solution, a sudden gush of wind careless his face, the hound which was supposed to be meters away from him suddenly appeared in front of him in a jumping motion.
So Fast! Ekhael thought.
Caught by surprise, Ekhael fell to the ground and the black hound in mid-air fell on top of him.
"This!?" Ekhael hurriedly tried to push the hound away from him but suddenly stopped midway when he noticed that the temperature of the hound didn't affect him at all.
Surprised, Ekhael sighed in relief before touching his heart. It almost gives him a heart attack.
Slowly Ekhael stretched his hand and began to pat the black hound's head gently, only when he was so sure that the hound's temperature didn't affect him in any way did he sit down.
Looking at the black hound, Ekhael cast his appraisal spell on it.
Soon, a familiar green screen appeared in front of him, followed by dense words of information related to the hound.

Upon reading the information about the black hound, the first thing that caught Ekhael's attention is the word Body reinforcing realm followed by Rare skill, Hell Fires Body.
Of course, the Potential and the name race also caught his attention, but those two are only secondary.
It could be said that he already accepted the fact that there are a lot of races here compared to Earth.

Ekhael looks at the information on the green screen before falling into deep thought.
The Potential should be informing the overall potential, usefulness, and strength of the hound and its chances to tackle the higher realm. The lower the potential the lower the possibility of advancing.
In addition, if an individual has higher potential it's easier and smoother for them to advance. There's also an increase in intelligence for those who have higher potential.
As for the grading system, Ekhael doesn't know. But if his guess is correct, the Upper World Will probably base the grading system similar to the grading system in some schools or novels on Earth. (Making them much easier to identify.)
The F or D should be the lowest potential, and A or SSS is the highest potential.
And the Hells Fire Hound which has B-higher potential, should be above average in terms of potential.

Ekhael looked at the hell fires hounds with mixed emotions.
It seems that his companion is much better than him.
Of course, Ekhael couldn't see his potential, it's just him assuming something. Just the speed of the black hound alone makes him feel inferior in terms of speed and strength.

Ekhael could not help but gasp loudly, he could not take his eyes off the skill of the hound.
"This is... Awesome." He exclaimed, it's much better than his Harvester skill.
A skill that could offset most of the damage from fire. Just this alone makes his companion overpowered, if he fights a beast that is focused on the fire element then the possibility of losing is quite small.
Similarly, if they fought in High-temperature areas, then his hound advantage would be evident.
Not including its ability to withstand corrosion and yin!
Just the thought of it makes him, Ekhael smile from ear to ear...
