"Belle," Eli approached her and held her hand without even noticing that he was doing it. "Mom and Dad bought you something as a housewarming gift."
"That's not just 'something' Eli," she retorted with quote-and-quote gesture with her fingers. "I can't accept that. It's too much."
"Then, what should I do? I can't tell them to get it back."
Belle felt so frustrated that she forgot the real purpose of why she came down to the living room. "You have given me a lot of things already. Why are they giving me more? How did they even know my address?"
"About that..." Eli wasn't sure if he should tell her the truth when she looked so angry, she could eat him whole.
"What?"
"The truth is, when I saw the place earlier, I got so excited I told my mother about it. Apparently, you can be considered their neighbors."
"Neighbors? Your parents and I?"
