MISUNDERSTANDING II

Note: I changed Dr. to Dra. Peachy Lopez to distinguish her from her father who was also a doctor from the same hospital.

Because of what he saw yesterday when he passed by Belle's home, Eli didn't talk much to her when she came to work. Moreover, Belle heard the rumor about Eli and Dra. Peachy Lopez, too. So, she decided not to act closely around him. 

The food she cooked for him, she kept it to herself and when lunch break came, she left the office to eat lunch somewhere else. 

Spotting her coming out of Eli's office with her lunch bag, Dra. Lopez walked up to her and smiled delightfully as if she had won the lottery. "Is Eli inside his office?" 

"Yeah. You can get inside and look for him," Belle answered and since she hadn't closed the door behind her yet, Eli heard her words. 

"Thanks. I'm just going to invite him for lunch."
