Belle blushed and her eyes went wide from the shock when she heard those words again. In truth, she heard them from Eli when he said those words to her, but she ignored them and let it out from her other ear. 

(Look. Eli said those words thoughtlessly. He didn't mean anything by his words.) 

[But it should be the truth. Isn't it during a fight that the words you've been keeping suddenly expose you?] 

(Eli is different.) 

[Belle, why do you keep avoiding his feelings for you?]
