A week had passed since the robbery incident and the time that Ceres had been waiting for finally arrived. Belle never noticed it before, but whenever Eli planned a trip, he would always take into consideration the children as well. He wasn't just taking vacation leaves for the sake of taking it, but there was always a purpose behind it. 

This time, his approved vacation leave happened to be a holiday and the children didn't have any classes to attend. Compared to Allen, Eli only applied for two days off from work. 

"Have you packed all the necessary items you needed there?" Eli asked Belle when he arrived at her house. "Are you sure you didn't forget anything to bring? It will be a long drive, and we won't be back until Sunday evening." 

"Everything's fine. I doubled check my things before packing them."
