BELLE REFUSED TO HELP

The screeching sound of the tires made so many people turn their attention to the driver who stepped out of his car. He looked handsome even when he was panicking as he banged his hands on the rusty metallic gate.

"Karis! Karis, please come out! We need to talk," he yelled out from the street. Many people were looking at him already, but he didn't care. "Karis!"

"Hey!" A woman out of the house and yelled back, "Who the hell are you?! We have no one in this house named Karis!"

"You're lying! Karis lives here! Bring her out. I need to talk to her. I beg you."

"I'm already speaking in human language, but you can't understand. We don't have anyone named Karis here! You have the wrong house!"

"No! That's impossible," Charles insisted while taking a peek into the house. Some residents of the house were already watching him, and he found them unfamiliar. None of them looked like her family.

"Wait!"
