He is Underestimated

"Vincent. The lord gave you an order". Elder Burke rebuked.

Refusing to comply with the order Mikeal gave is a sign of disloyalty. And demonstrating it before them no less.

Mikeal has other thoughts on the matter.

"Are you that sure of yourself that you don't need the extra training Anna will be providing".

Mikeal could have easily ended this with; oh you won't do it? Fine then, but get the others to do it.

He does not give an inkling of thought to disloyalty like Elder Burke or the others think.

The only reason he is not putting an end to this and furthering the argument is so that he can increase Vincent's awareness.

Truth be told, Mikeal is pleased with Vincent's action toward him.

He does not display excessive show of loyalty like the others do, but he knows better than to maintain a certain distinctive lane as a lord to a subject.
