Chapter 4: Leeroy Jenkins

"Sure enough it's here!" He Yi Ming felt a chill up his spine.

Although graphorn possess no special ability, their hide is tougher than steel, their stomps can crush armor and their powers outmatch humans in the same realms!

Simply put, the graphorn are monsters that possess extremely high base stats, their attack, hitpoint, and defense are some of the highest in the Spirit Realms!

"Holy Shit, are the monsters in this game this terrifying? I almost pooped my pants!"

"What a scary cat! The amounts of monsters I have slain are in the thousands! This is nothing in comparison!"

"Yeah, in Monster Hunter 7, I even killed a 70 meter tall Old Mountain Dragon! Compare that monster to this? Huh, this monster is just child's plays!"

"I will have believed your crap if it was not for your trembling legs!"

Although most of the players almost shit their pants when they first saw the graphorn, they were able to quickly regain their composure.

After all, what sort of horrifying monsters have they not seen after playing so many video games!

If this was not a 100% real virtual game, then most of the players would not even budge at the graphorn arrival!

He Yi Ming knew that all of the players were only at Body Refinement Realm Rank 1, even if they were to all charge at the graphorn together, not only will they not make a scratch on the beast, but they will be easily massacred instead.

"Everyone back off! This monster is called a graphorn, it is a Spirit Realm beast, and it's not something you guy can handle right now!" He Yi Ming shouted and took a step forward, readying himself to deal with the beast.

"Hahahaha! It's my turn time to shine!"

"Charge!" (Leeeroooy Jenkins!!!)

However, a player was so excited, that without listening to He Yi Ming's warning, out of nowhere, rushed at the beast wielding nothing but a stick he pick up off the ground!

"???" He Yi Ming was at a loss for words.

Where in the world did this player, ID Beef Noodle, get his confidence from?

That's a Spirit Realm beast, what in the world made you think that you can stand up to it wielding nothing but a wooden stick?

"Holy shit, what in the world is that guy thinking? Who just rush in like that?" Even the other players were dumbfounded by his action.

F***, what about all our tactics? What about all our plans? What about our 32.33 repeating percentage of survival?!

The graphorn saw Beef Noodle rushing over and raised its front pair of hooves.

"Watch out! That is the graphorn only skill, earthshatter!" He Yi Ming shouted to the surrounding players and retreated back.

Well, since it just so happened that someone wants to perform a live demonstration, He Yi Ming decided to go along with it and started to give lessons on the graphorn to the other players.

The next moment, the graphorn forcefully slams its hooves onto the ground, causing the ground to shake within a range of ten meters surrounding the impact.

Even the other players, who are 40-50 meters away, felt the ground shaking, their bodies started to sway, and some of them even lost their balance.

"Earthshatter, the graphorn slams its hooves forcefully into the ground, creating a quake, knocking down the enemies. Then depending on the enemy type, the graphorn can choose one of several follow-up moves, either crush the enemy by stomping it or charging the vulnerable enemy into a solid structure/objects!" He Yi Ming explains the graphorn attacks habits to the other players.

Almost at the same time.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhh!" Beef Noodle lost his footing and let out a blood-curdling scream as he was knocked to the ground.

The graphorn eyes lit up and walk toward Beef Noodle to deliver the finishing blow.

"Splat!" A splattering sound was made as Beef Noodle was stomped into a tomato paste by the graphorn.

Ending in a very gruesome death.

"Oh my god, this monster combo is way too broken!"

"One hit KO! Did you see that? That was a one-shotted kill!"

"F***, I didn't sign up for this, this is just a souls-like game in disguise!"

"What an idiot, feeding his brains out."

"Friendly Reminder, the player can turn off blood and corpse by going to the Setting page, then go to the PG13 options and click enable."

The spectating players shouted in exclamation while the system gave out a friendly reminder.

"? ? ?"

"What the hell just happen?"

Ding Hao, whose ID is Beef Noodle, looked at the login screen with a confused expression on his face.

"Hello player Beef Noodle, due to your death, your character was deleted forever, please create a new character!"

Only after hearing the system robotic voice did Beef Noodle make sense of what has just occurred.

"F***! What sort of shitty game is this!"

Holy shit, the starter town monster just one-shotted me with a two moves combo?

Even the dark souls' bosses I have fought in the past are more lenient than this crap!

What was the developer thinking when they made that monster?!

Beef Noodle was disgusted, truly disgusted.

At this time, at the base of the mountain.

"Graphorn has only one skill, earthshatter! Apart from that, the graphorn mainly relies on its astonishing speed to charge down its enemy, and then it uses its massive weight to stomp its enemy to their death! Oh, by the way, they can even deliver kicks too." He Yi Ming calmly explained before taking a step forward again.

Although He Yi Ming knew that the players stood no chance up against a graphorn but he still patiently give them an explanation, after all, he was not only their summoner but their Sect Master as well, it's his responsibility to guide them in this new world.

"Let's get started!"

Without saying any more nonsense, He Yi Ming fully erupts his Spirit Realm Early Stage cultivation to the uppermost limit and rushes toward the beast!

"Gagaga!"

Seeing another human seeking death, the graphorn let out a weird battle cry before pouncing toward He Yi Ming.

He Yi Ming understood that dodging beneath and to the side of the graphorn will just make him more vulnerable to the beast follow-up attack, left with no other options, he was forced into jumping over the beast attack. Pushing the ground with all his strength, He Yi Ming was able to barely avoid the graphorn pounce!

The graphorn hooves slammed heavily onto the ground creating a half a meter deep crater on where it landed!

"BANG! ! !"

The loud rumbles and the shaking of the ground cause several players to be knocked over and left the rest of them startled.

"OH MY GOD! What sort of unholy creation is this?"

"Does our Master even stand a chance against this creature?"

"Shh, be quiet, this must be part of the cut scene, Master victory is in the bag!"

The players were surprised at first but then they quickly calm down and started to chill while watching the fight play out before them.

"The graphorn hide and muscle are extremely tough, blunt attack do almost no damages to them, their only weakness is their soft underbelly!" He Yi Ming explains as he quickly turns and clashes head-on with the graphorn, their power was evenly matched!

What He Yi Ming was taking advantage of, was the fact that the graphorn was still recovering from its lunges, without giving the beast a chance to recover, He Yi Ming release a fierce barrage of strikes!

"ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA!"

The spectating players couldn't believe their eyes!

They watch as He Yi Ming, who was less than 2 meters tall, landed punch after punch after punch onto the 4 meters tall beast head and was able to push it back briefly! The graphorn was not able to do anything but to take the beating, the beast continues to let out scream after scream of pain until it finally coughed up blood!

However the graphorn was indeed very bulky, He Yi Ming's attacks only serve to angry it with each blow!

Suddenly, the speed of the graphorn exploded along with its strength!

"Holy shit, this monster even has a berserk mode?" Many players exclaim as they watch the beast's eye turns crimson red!

"Raigeki Break!!!" Before the graphorn could even deliver a counterattack, He Yi Ming suddenly retreated and raised his hand, a bolt of thunder shot out from his fingertip, directly hitting the beast!

"GAGAGA!" The graphorn screamed out in agony as its entire body was temporarily paralyzed!

Seizing this opportunity, He Yi Ming rushed directly back at the graphorn while gathering and condensing spirit energy onto his right hand!

In the next moment, He Yi Ming punch the graphorn face with all his strength to the side!

Along with the graphorn scream, the beast's body lost its balance and fell to the side revealing its weak points!

Seizing this opportunity, He Yi Ming strikes out violently, he changed his fist into a chop and piercing directly into the graphorn underbelly, after puncturing the graphorn abdomen, He Yi Ming swipes his hand to the side, slicing it open!

"Slash!"

With a crisp sound, the underbelly of the graphorn was cut open, blood and organs start to spew out of the wound!

A killing blow!
