2 Chapter 2: 88 Players
"Another world disciple summoning is in progress, creating the game official website, creating the game forum, selecting the first batch of players, delivering the VR helmet..."
Six hours later, the system has finally finished loading everything.
All 88 players were selected and the VR helmet was delivered.
Looking at the rudimentary website created by the system, after some thought, He Yi Ming wrote this into the in-game description.

Contemplating what else to add in, He Yi Ming felt that the website was missing a promotional video, using the system He Yi Ming recorded a short video to show off the world!
In the video, the camera zoom through the ruins of the sect only to briefly stop at the scenery of luscious mountain and clear stream before the camera finally focuses on He Yi Ming.
He Yi Ming looks into the camera and open both his hand, an ord of lighting suddenly appeared in his right hand followed by a pillar of flame erupting from his left hand, before he delivered the line "Rise to become a heavenly immortal or fall to become the hellish devil, what are you waiting for, the choice is in your hands!"
After finishing his line He Yi Ming ended the video and clicked upload to post it on the website.
All the more tedious and complicated operations will be handled by the system!
Now all he needs to do is wait for those players to come online!

"Huh? A VR helmet? Defying Heaven's first beta?" In a small rundown apartment, Ding Hao looked at the VR helmet in his hand a little baffled.
Inexplicably receiving a delivery with a virtual reality helmet written on the label, Ding Hao, out of curiosity about what's in the box, signed the paper.
When he opened the package, there was actually a virtual reality helmet laying within the box. Regardless of the quality of the game, just the craftsmanship and detail on the helmet were better than any VR helmet he has seen on the market!
This made Ding Hao more hopeful about what the game has to offer.
But he has some doubt about why he was selected, he was not a pro gamer, a wealthy person, or even a content creator, there is no reason for them to send him a VR helmet at all.
A few years ago, the world got the first taste of virtual reality! A world that was not projected onto a display but into the human mind! Following the creation of virtual reality technology, many game companies jump on the opportunity and release their own virtual reality game!
Claiming that the virtual world was the second world for mankind!
But only after people start to buy the VR helmet did they realize that it was all a cash grab!
There were many problems with the games, first the simplicity, the graphics just Minecraft but worst, the control is very finicky, and there were many connection problems between the helmet and human brain.
Most of the company's claims were just a boast, the technology was decades off before it is ready for mass-marketed!
Yet, this VR helmet dares to claim that its world is 100% realistic, are you kidding me, this is a lawsuit waiting to happen!
Filled with questions, Ding Hao logged into the game's official website only to find a very simple and rudimentary page. Although there was also a forum, there was not a single post, this cause him to have even more doubts.
But all of that doubts disappear after watching the video uploaded by He Yi Ming, Ding Hao was left stupefy, the only thought left within his mind was that this was not real, it must be filmed in the real world!
Yet, that doesn't explain the beasts he saw wandering in some shots or the spell cast by that person!
"There is no way the graphics are this out of this world, right? Even the latest flagship graphics card can't handle such godly graphics!" Ding Hao was left perplexed.
Thinking that he has nothing to lose and that the helmet was given to him for free, Ding Hao felt that there was no harm in giving it a try. Ding Hao laid down on the bed and put on the helmet before he clicked on the login button.
When Ding Hao opened his eyes again, what he saw left him utterly speechless!
Ding Hao was standing above the void, below him were countless runes whirling beneath his feet, and standing before him gigantic mirror!
Within the mirror stood a figure completely identical to him.

"This game will use your real-life appearance as the base for your in-game character. The default pain level is 5%, you can freely adjust this setting in the in-game Settings button. After you have confirmed your name, there is no way to change it so please choose your name carefully. Stepping into the mirror will start your epic journey of cultivation.
A slightly robotic notification voice played.
"F***, what sort of black tech is this? I was stupid for doubting this game!" Ding Hao was absolutely mind blown!
Just the login screen only was far superior to any VR games he has ever played!
Quickly doing some minor adjustments to his in-game character, making it look a bit more handsome, Ding Hao was able to think up a name immediately.

After confirming his name, Ding Hao close his eyes and took a deep breath before taking a step forward, walking right into the mirror.....

He Yi Ming stood quietly on the square outside of the sect hall, his gaze locked onto the portal before him.
Suddenly, the portal trembles, within an instant He Yi Ming's eyes lit up!
"They've come!"
"The players are coming!"
Under He Yi Ming's gaze, the first figure walked out of the portal.
Due to his authority as their summoner, with a single glance, He Yi Ming saw all of the attributes of the person.

The cultivation realm above Heavenly Core Realm is outside of his knowledge.
He Yi Ming himself is only at the Peak of Body Refinement Realm Rank 10.

All 88 players were looking at their surroundings, they're were being surprised by the most common of sight, for example, an ant crawling onto their feet, the scent of soil in the air, and insects flying through the air. To the players, all of this was too realistic, none of what they saw seemed virtual, it was as if they have been transported into another world!
The only thing reminding the players that they were still a game was the Setting button in the upper right corner of their view, otherwise, they can't tell that this was just a virtual reality game!
After the players took in the scenery, they started to cast their eyes toward He Yi Ming.
Donning an azure robe, with a face that was delicate yet charming, gave off a demeanor that was calm as water, and an aura like the spring breeze.

Did he really just log in to a game?
This is as if he has been isekai'd, ok?
The only thing telling him that this was still a game were the surrounding players.
Beef Noodle even lowered his head to tickle his feet, yep, even the feeling of ticking his feet was the same as in the real world! What can this game not do?
Watching the players playing around, He Yi Ming began to count the number of players in the game.
Wow! As expected of the players chosen by the system, all 88 of them enters the game, not one of them was missing!
It seems that what the system said about the first batch of players being carefully selected was true.
