In the midst of an expansive, pristine white void, Nash stood face-to-face with an entity that called itself a "Supreme Being." This being, he explained, surpassed the status of a god and followed no cosmic rules, instead acting on a whim. Nash, for his part, introduced himself with a sense of self-assuredness.
"My name is Nash," he said simply, a glimmer of pride in his voice. "It's nothing extravagant, but I've always had a fondness for it." He recounted his past life as an ardent otaku, devouring anime and novels with unwavering dedication. However, his story took an unexpected turn.
One day, while indulging in a hot bath of exceptional comfort, Nash succumbed to drowsiness and, quite literally, drowned in his relaxation, meeting his untimely end.
The Supreme Being before him, while otherwise incomprehensible, struggled to stifle laughter, his face quivering with mirth. Nash, aware of the source of amusement, encouraged him to release his laughter.
"Go ahead," Nash said with a sigh, "I know my demise was quite amusing. Have your laugh."
ROB, as he identified himself, couldn't contain himself, erupting into boisterous laughter. Eventually, he regained composure and addressed Nash.
"Apologies," ROB managed to say between chuckles. "It's just that your manner of passing, in your sleep, by drowning... it's rather comical."
Nash shrugged. "So, what's next? Do I get wishes like in fanfiction stories?"
ROB grinned, still amused. "Indeed, you do. And because you've given me such a good laugh, I'll grant you two wishes without any limitations. You can choose the world and timeline you wish to be reincarnated in. And just to be clear, I have no ulterior motives; I'm a free-spirited ROB."
Nash breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank the heavens; I'm not looking to fight any multiverse-busting beings. As for my wishes: first, I want the power to create any skill I desire, and second, I'd like to look like Lelouch Lamperouge from Code Geass, with the same height but a muscular build like Garou."
ROB chuckled knowingly. "Ah, aiming for an overpowered start, I see. However, I must mention that abilities like omnipotence, omniscience, and omnipresence won't be included unless you find a way to loophole them."
Nash grinned. "I just want to own a cafe and live my life to the fullest with my newfound powers."
"Very well, kiddo," ROB said. "I might visit from time to time. Now, off you go."
With that, a portal opened beneath Nash, and he was drawn into it. Moments later, he found himself in a narrow alleyway. As he regained his composure, he surveyed his surroundings, spotting the towering structure of Heavens Arena, a place he had wished to be.
However, he knew that his purpose here was different. To unlock his godlike potential and achieve his dream of running a cafe, he needed to test his newfound powers.
Nash focused his thoughts and invoked his first skill:
[SKILL CREATION: APPRAISAL]
A screen-like interface materialized before him, displaying his attributes:
Strength: 19
Agility: 20
Dexterity: 16
Defense: 19
Intelligence: 87
Energy: N/A
Charisma: 109
Luck: 80
Power: Skill Creation
The skill worked, and Nash was filled with excitement. Eager to further enhance himself, he employed another skill:
[SKILL CREATION: STAT MODIFIER]
The attributes now read:
Strength: ∞
Agility: ∞
Dexterity: ∞
Defense: ∞
Intelligence: ∞
Energy: ∞
Charisma: 10,000
Luck: 80,000
Power: Skill Creation
However, Nash knew that controlling such limitless power was crucial. He activated:
[SKILL CREATION: ABSOLUTE SELF CONTROL - THIS SKILL CAN CONTROL ANYTHING RELATED TO YOUR BODY]
[SKILL CREATION: REALITY MANIPULATION - BENDING REALITY, TIME, SPACE TO YOUR WHIM]
[SKILL CREATION: SKILL LEVEL MAXIMIZATION - MAXIMIZE ANY SKILL YOU CHOOSE AND BECOME THE BEST IN IT]
With these newfound abilities, Nash felt ready to embark on his journey. But first, he had to establish his cafe.
He crafted a pocket dimension and created a sturdy oak wood door that was interconnectedwith multiple realities, with a hanging sign above it that read, "Nash's Omni Cafe."
With his dream cafe now ready, Nash was prepared to venture into the world of Hunter x Hunter, the timeline he had chosen, to begin his extraordinary journey.
