CHAPTER 21

" we should..."

And once again we are both quiet. Am beginning to hate this awkward silence that always manages to find its way in between us. am usually fine with awkward silence it never bothers me since most of the time am the one who initiates it and leaves the other person feeling uncomfortable. Well, it's their fault anyway, they know am not the chatty type and they still choose to strike a conversation with me.

But this awkward silence was haunting since it's a critical moment and we both had things to say but it seemed none of us was willing to break the silence and when we did we spoke over each other which again left us in awkward silence when we both suddenly stop to give the other room to speak. He too didn't seem like a big fan of the current atmosphere between us. He had his right hand on the back of his neck tagging on a few hair strands with his head turned towards the window staring into the distance
