CHAPTER 15

"Alex"

even as I called out to him he didn't spare me a glance or act as if he heard me calling out to him but only proceeded to trying to get himself up by pulling on the table next to the bed. When it was decided that he wasn't strong enough to lift himself up he opted to clawing on his stomach. He was determined to get out of the room or maybe away from me by any means possible but in his condition he won't be able to make it through the door before my uncle was back.

That thought brought goosebumps onto my skin. If my uncle finds him on the floor like this he would accuse me of being careless with someone who was in poor health and proceed to talking my ears off which I was not in the mood for. Maybe if I apologize and say I didn't mean it he would listen and accept my help, but whom am I kidding he would never buy that but I had to do something to make him listen and I knew just the thing.

"Alex! can you stop being stubborn and let me help you up before my uncle comes back and finds you in this pitiful state?"

"What part of leave me alone didn't you understand!" Damn this boy sure is a hard but to crack.

"What if I make you a deal that you can't resist?"

" I don't make deals with the devil" You could hear and feel the venom that lased his every word. With no doubt I had already made it into his bad book by know yikes!

" Even if it involves helping you get rid of your dead 'vermin' problem? "

That quickly got his attention and he stopped his attempt of getting around through clawring.You could see the wheels turning in his head as he debated whether to trust me or not. I just needed to give him more reason why accepting my help was his only option in getting out of here free.

" You are in no condition to even help yourself so how do you plan on getting rid of the boy on your own. As much as you don't like the idea I am your only hope and if you think it's a trap its not if I wanted to rat you out I would have had my uncle call the police once I found the body so relax" The look of loss on his face told me that we were finally on the same boat.

"What's the cost? I am sure you are not doing this out of kindness or because you pity me so spill it" He indeed was a smart boy but for what I wanted I still hadn't thought about it.

" Am not sure for now but I will save it for a rainy day so what do you say should we shake on it and call it a deal? "

I extended my hand to him and for a few seconds he looked at me then at the hand as if reconsidering his decision but he finally met my hand with his in a weak grip. I took the chance to pull him into me then placed my hands under his knees and scoped him in my arms. Surprise was all that covered his face then came a light hit on my chest and all I could do was laugh which earned me another hit.

Chris placed me back onto the bed and placed the covers over my body as before. Anyone watching this scene would feel warmth in their heart and even butterflies in their tummy but not me, I knew I was gonna pay a hefty price for making a deal with the devil and accepting his help but for now he was my only hope.

"Thanos! Dragoshi! I don't have a good feeling about this we should call it off its not to late."

"Relax Alex right now he Is our best option, it's either him or the cops when they are called by the others who are on their way."

" Dragoshi is wright Alex we should let him deal with this for now then what ever he is planning we would be ready for it after all he won't be our first tangle. "

" You better make this worth what ever price I will be paying. So let's here what trick you have up your sleeve. " I was hella serious if his only jocking around I was gonna give him the same treatment the bitch got and even better.

"wow! wow! darling no need for threats I will surely deliver what I promise" Again with that name what's wrong with his dude?

" Keep the darling to your father my name is Tha..Alex in case you have short term memory which won't be a surprise" Damn I almost slipped because I let this idiot get to me maybe I should let Dragoshi and Alex deal with him one on one coz I don't have the patience.

" How about you just get some rest and let the medicine work their magic and when you get up it will all be done." He said this as he pulled the cover up to my neck then tucked me in properly. I really wanted to know what he was planning but the medicine was really starting to kick in and I could feel myself getting more tired and my eyelids heavier guess I will just have to wait and see what he is talking about when I wake up from the nap which I was unwilling taking.

Before I could completely give in to the my unconscious world I saw Chris heading to the window and taking a pick through the curtains then heading to the door and when i thought he was completely out of the room he picked his head into the room and the last thing I heard was in the line of

" in case my uncle comes back before me just tell him I went to the bathroom darling " and him blowing a kiss my way before the door slammed shut and my eyelids soon followed
