30 Story Time

'Will you at least tell me how you got the book?'He said lowering down the tone of his voice.

'It's a long story,' I said.

'I don't mind, we have a lot of time,' he said. You can start your story.

'All right then.' I said making myself comfortable on the sofa.

'It was about 5 years ago, right before the time you started to appear in my life. I was only 17 back then. It was the last year of high school.'

'Wait how come is that you were only 17 when you were in the last year of high school?'

'Shut up if you want to hear me telling the rest of it.'

'Okay then go on.'

'I had a bunch of friends, there were the ones I was with from the beginning of my high school life. After the incident happened when I was in middle school, my parents ended up sending me to a high school abroad.

For some reason, in that school, they gave the chance to students who were smart and clever to go up a grade. It was only a grade that made no difference at all.'

'Since I went one grade up there were a lot of students who disliked me. However, there was this gang of students who seemed pretty awesome but there were school bullies. I joined them to escape from the others and added up ganging up on students.

There were even sometimes that I even got into serious trouble and ended up in the Police station, but thanks to my dad who cared about his reputation more than the life of his own child, I was able to get out of every trouble that I got into.'

'So I and my friends were all good and no one in the school dared to raise their voice at me for some reason.'

'Yeah, I can see that you are indeed scary, he said with a playful smile.'

'We didn't even get into the scary part. So we were once out playing with a bunch of boys, they were all older than me but it felt fine cause they didn't treat me differently.

Since I was the one to pay we all went to all sorts of places, even into clubs. Now don't ask me how we all get into a club when we were not even 18. I need to ask that my friends, they had so many ways to go through everything.'

"They were much scarier than me." 'So after playing in the club for a while, we all came out drunk. I and my sisters were ready for another round but the boys were already done with us.'

'Maybe We played with them a bit too much, I said smiling.'

'So after another exhausting hour at the karaoke. We finally decided to head back to our dorm. It was already past 2 am So there was no point in spending those remaining few hours.

The road back to hour school was through a huge forest which belonged to our school. We had nothing to worry about it cause it was surrounded by a huge fence and was guarded with security.

We bribed the security guard at the front gate and went on our way, for some reason the lights which used to light up whenever they sensed a human being was not working.'

'There were a lot of wild animals which we haven't seen before, that was the reason which kept us away from the wild. We were the only ones who dared to travel through the forest at night, we were so confident about it because we never met any danger.

However that night, we all heard so many noises, we haven't even had traveled half the way. It was enough to scare my strong-hearted sisters.'

"There were screams of people, it felt like people were getting killed right next to us without us seeing. We got close to each other because it was scary enough to freeze our hearts to death.'

'Something appeared right in front of our eyes, completely black but with clear glittering red eyes. My friends screamed and backed off to save themselves.

For foursome reasons, my consciousness told me that I can confront that beast and surpass it without any problem.

So I kept standing in front of it, without moving a little. I looked straight into its eyes. I couldn't see its face, it was all empty. But he was wearing a black cloak and was floating in the sky.'

'You are talking about my uncle, Black cloak. No wonder he disappeared all of the sudden. Were you the one who scared him off? Normally I shouldn't be praising you but I have to praise you on that. He was such a nuisance.'

'Go on, your story is nice and interesting indeed.'

'So whoever that was, what did you say again, oh right Black cloak. I felt this something coming up through my veins, which gradually started to develop a pain in my heart. It was hard to keep standing but I kept standing because I couldn't act like a child in front of my sisters.

Get out of my face, I said hitting his face. He didn't even move a little to dodge my fist so I ended up landing a huge blow on his face, no wait, I mean on his cloak. It didn't feel like he had a face. It didn't hurt at all, but it felt like My heart was been clenched by someone.'

'I saw him gradually turning into red dust, but even before I could see what completely happened to him, I lost my consciousness.'

'The next morning I woke up on a bed in the infirmary instead of on my bed. There were a bunch of doctors who were discussing something.

I didn't know why they were there, but it felt like they were discussing something serious. I looked at all the other beds which were full of students.

In a few minutes, I could understand that it was non-other than my sisters.

They were all unconscious, not moving as if they were dead. I tried to stand up but I couldn't. The people who seemed to be doctors came running towards me.'

'Miss Yuki, we advise you to not get up from your bed we will take care of the rest. Please rest.'

'Someone dressed in black was standing beside me, miss Yuki, your father sent me here. He told me to give you this.'

'He handed me over a plane ticket to a country which I didn't even know. What is this?'

'Don't worry about it miss Yuki, you will be moved tonight, I just wanted to let you know. I kept getting up from the bed regardless of the pain to take a call to my dad.

I was almost at the last year and he wants me to go somewhere else.'

'I couldn't walk more than a few feet I fell on my knees.'

'I accidentally looked at my hands, The veins were all black and My hands looked like it was infected by some kind of a parasite.'

'Please get back on the bed miss Yuki, A nurse said helping me up. This book was with you when we found you, the same nurse said handing me over a weird book with a cover done in metal, attached with all sorts of gems, and was locked with a fancy-looking metal lock.'
