Now, Klaus stepped out of the shadow vortex moving around them like a tsunami, causing a tremble even in the cage Gypson had formed. Yet, within the vortex, one could still see mirror images that appeared as though Klaus was still inside it.
Undeterred, Klaus created a vortex of shadows, hoping to ensnare Gypson within its dark grasp. The vortex spiraled with intensity.
"Conserve, that's the first thing I ever learnt going up against a stronger enemy. Dad was always nagging about me wasting too much energy on things that may not bear fruit, I guess it's time I follow that principle and hold," Klaus thought sneakily as he had one in mind he felt Gypson would not be ready for.
"You must learn to see beyond the shadows, Klaus," Gypson said, his voice echoing in the void. "The true essence of shadow manipulation lies not in what you see, but in what you sense."
