CHAPTER 42: TWO IDIOTS (5)

“I won’t admit it! He cheated!”

Piten is outside the stage, shouting while the other teachers are holding him back. He can’t believe that Lekas’s attack didn’t use any magic. No matter what kind of tricks he used so magic wasn’t detected, he definitively used it. Sinclair who is on the other side, is sitting on the ground as well. His face is so dark you can’t see his eyes. His skin has turned pale, ashen almost. The taste of this particular defeat is more than he possibly imagined. His sword even stayed on the stage, proof that the blow he received was powerful enough for him to release it.

Lekas and Aldeit are looking at each other silently, patiently, observing the opponent’s breathing and all possible details that could be used as a disadvantage. After about two minutes, right when Aldeit is about to attack, Lekas raises his hand and stops him.

“Wait.” Lekas goes over to where Sinclair’s sword is and takes it.
