chapter thirty three

when he got there he witness his parents talking to his grand pa

"what brought you here father" his father said

"I came for my check up and I had some business to deal with. what are you doing here" his grandpa asked

"Dad, Nick and his friend got into an accident"

"an accident" his grandpa laughed

why was he laughing?

"an accident..... hahaha... again"

again?

"who on Earth allowed their child close to that cursed child, killing his parents in this same accident was not enough but he tried to take another soul again through this same accident" his grandpa said and chuckled softly

Nick took a step back

"Dad! stop it, I will not allow you to say such "

"you stupid child don't you see it, he ruins everything, anyone is cursed to be love by that child, he's not worthy of anyone's love neither should his love be taking serious because everything he loves turns to ashes" grandpa said

Nick covered his ears and didn't want to hear more.

"please stop, please stop" he pleaded in his mind, he slowly squat on the ground and then all their harsh words resurfaced

he remembered when he was a kid all the harsh words his grandparents and the other relatives said about him, how they made him feel he was useless and not welcome anywhere, how they always tormented him with his parents death and how Everytime they went for the family gathering, they imprint these harsh words in his mind

"no! please not again, I don't want to go through it again" he pleaded again as the past memories became unbearable,

he has never told his parents the abuse he suffered each time they went there, but luckily for him they stopped going there.

at first he never understood why his grandparents hated him and their words never got to him, until that day he heard the truth about his origin,

their abuse, he kept it all in because even he blamed himself and it killed him, it became a stain that he couldn't wash off neither could he throw it away or forget it.

his parents tried to stop his grandpa from saying worst things about him but he continued to do more

Nick couldn't breathe

"no Nick you are a man, you're not that little boy, so don't get affected by this" he said to console himself.
