"Is all that true?"
Austin's footsteps stopped when Della suddenly said quietly. His hand, in the middle of the road, was held by Della to stop his steps. Austin did not answer the question. The teenager remained silent as he roughly let go of Della's hand.
"Not only are you a smartass, I just found out that you also have a habit of eavesdropping," Austin sarcastically said. Regardless, Della did not look at him with her usual cold face this time. She was looking worriedly at Austin, who had a pale face, even though he was trying to look fine in front of her.
Austin didn't like seeing that worried look on a face that usually looked at him with a scornful expression. The teenager snorted as he tried to turn around to leave Della.
But it wouldn't be Della if she just gave up. The girl had a habit of correcting her mistakes no matter how difficult they were. Della knew she was wrong now, so the girl felt she had to apologize to Austin.
