Moving into the dorms(1)

Tang Xue Mei nodded and walked further into the dormitory, Tang Can following behind, who took her time to survey the place if it was conducive for living.

"It looks good just a bit expensive for average students to pay.."

Tang Xue Mei nodded it was indeed expensive for an average student even a well to do student would find difficulty in paying such bills.

"Are you here for your biometrics?"

A light skinned lady wearing a white lab coat asked Tang Xue Mei has she opened the door allowing them to pass.

"Yes we were told to walk further.."

"Yes.." The lady nodded she was the one incharge of biometrics.

"I'm the one responsible for biometrics, please have a seat while i get the device don't worry it's very fast, it will be done in two minutes or more.."

The lady brought out the device and asked if they were both here for their biometrics.

"Are you getting one as well?"

"No i'm not a student here.."

The lady nodded and focused her attention on Tang Xue Mei, within five minutes, her biometrics had been taken and uploaded to the university's and dormitory system.

"It's done you can now unlock your room with your fingerprint.."

"Thank you.."

The lady nodded and pointed towards the dormitory which was few meters away from the biometrics office.

"The interior is nice, it looks conducive to live in, the gardens and grandiose."

Turning to Tang Xue Mei, Tang Can looked side ways before whispering.

"Was it because this place has some influence in your past life?"

"No!"

Tang Xue Mei chuckled, in fact she didn't stay in the dormitory in her past life, she stayed with her parents while going to and fro everyday till Ju Jing had struck her with blindness.

"I never lived in the dorms it's my first time, i want to experience the student life this time around. Also because it's a university area and there are a lot of students with means it's a good place for a business.."

Tang Can raised her brows and nodded it was indeed the best places to start a business as long as what she was selling could interest them then she would have a steady flow of cash everyday.

"It's just that...i feel like i'm still missing something before i start it?"

Tang Xue Mei frowned she couldn't quite think of what she was missing or maybe it wasn't a thing perhaps it was a person.

"You'll figure it out, you got time."

Tang Can paused and looked at her watch it was almost five, if she wanted to move in today then they would have to head back and start packing.

"Are you moving intoday?"

"No..well just my things i'll stay over one night and then i'll spend the rest of my days in Sakura dormitory..."

Tang Can nodded she guessed their mother still hadn't gotten over the fact that Tang Xue Mei was moving out.

After taking the elevator they got to room 44 and opposite them was room 43 which they could hear some really loud noise but Tang Xue Mei didn't mind if they dared to disturb her peace she didn't mind disturbing theirs as well.

Tang Xue Mei placed a hand on the door handle and then placed her finger on the center part, a soft click was heard and the door opened.

"It really was that fast.."

Tang Xue Mei mummured as they walked inside.

"Hello! Is there anyone in?"

"Hey what'sup! You must be Tang Xue Mei, I'm Qin Mingyue your new roommate.."

A bubbly black haired girl with a bright smile stood close to Tang Xue Mei holding cupcakes.

"You must be wondering how i know your name? The dormitory attendant sent me a message saying i had a new roommate along with your name."

Qin Mingyue lead them in as she placed the cupcakes on the coffee table.

"I'll make a quick introduction, I'm Qin Mingyue, i'm 21 years old, my birthday month is March, i love pink not purple, i like sweet not sour, i've been living here for about a year now it's so nice to have some company!"

Tang Xue Mei was baffled by her bubbly attitude and she wasn't joking when she said she liked pink as she was dressed in all pink from her hairpin down to her hello kitty themed indoor slippers.

"Oh yeah and i'm an hello kitty fan!"

Tang Xue Mei cringed it wasn't hard to notice she had been blinded by hello kitty since they got in.

"Well what about you! Don't spoil the moment.."

Qin Mingyue leaned in excitedly, she really liked making new friends.

Tang Xue Mei pursed her lips but Tang Can nudged her urging her to say something.

"I'm Tang Xue Mei, i'm 21 years old as well and i like what i like.."

"..."

Tang Can smacked her head that was too brief of an introduction, she looked at Qin Mingyue who smiled and watched the cupcakes towards them.

"My family is rich i don't have to work the only thing i've worked for was making friends and so far i haven't made any, it can be lonely at times, so i tend to pick up a skill like baking or cooking i've spent my time trying to get better but i have no one to share them with.."

Tang Can pouted and nodded her big sister instinct kicking in—"Don't worry we'll try your cupcakes.."

Tang Xue Mei lips twitched, she had used her cuteness on them and Tang Can had fallen badly.

"I won't try to poison you or anything you can trust me, at least with the fact that i won't cause you harm on the first day we met..."

Tang Xue Mei shook her head if Qin Mingyue was a bad person she would know but yet again there could be a heart of darkness beneath that layer of bubbly attitude she portrayed.

"Well try it.."

Tang Xue Mei nodded and picked up a cupcake followed by Tang Can. Tang Xue Mei took a small bite, she still had her suspicions they only people she trusted right now was herself and Tang Can.

.....Its actually pretty good.

Tang Xue Mei thought to herself as she placed the cupcakes down, she had gotten enough sweets for one day.

"Qin Mingyue you should open a bakery!"
