Chapter 56: A Trip

Finally it is the start of the summer break. Aubrey is excited! She can finally plan her trip to Japan. She is certain this break is just what she needed to get her mind over Rhyland. She can't be catching feelings, she just got over one heartache she didn't intend to embark on new one, Especially one with a predestined ending.

So I just need to stay away from him for 2 weeks. I'm pretty sure it should be fine.

Turns out, Aubrey's thinking was too naive.

Rhyland and even Dimitri refused to let her do her solo trip.

"It's too dangerous." Rhyland said adamantly.

"Have you no sense of self preservation?" Dimitri scoffed in disgust.

"But I'll keep my necklace on. And Japan is generally a safe country."

"It's only safe if you have us along with you." Rhyland commented and Dimitri nodded.

"You know how much I have been saving to go to Japan…" Aubrey whined.

"I know, baby girl. How about this, you go with us to Ireland and we'll go with you to Japan."

"What's in Ireland?"
