Prologue

"So this is how my life ends…"

'If there is a next life, I wish to be in a world I can live leisurely in.'

The young man said as his vision blurs while looking at the setting sun.

~Fifteen minutes before the accident.~

"Finally the class is finished." Ryu said while stretching his body.

"Hey Ryu, do you have any plans tonight? Our class seems to be having a party to have fun before the break."

"I don't have any plans, but I just want to go home and take a nap before going on a game marathon of my mobile games."

"On PriCon, I still have two levels left before I'm caught up to the story."

Ryu answered his seatmate while packing all his things in his bag.

"Oh wow, you're really addicted to mobile games. How many are you playing?"

"Hmm, well I would say eleven I think. I'm not quite sure, because I play both global and japanese versions of the game." Ryu said it like it's nothing to play that many games.

"What!? Eleven!? How do you have the time to study if you have that many games?"

"I don't. What I answer in our exams in assignments is what I remembered from our lessons. Anyway, I'll go first, I have to catch my bus. Have fun at the party, see you next semester."

"Oh, damn you're smart. See you then."

Unfortunately, that's gonna be the last time they'll ever meet.

At the bus stop.

"Phew~ Good thing I made it in time. I don't want to wait an hour for the next one, it will delay my plans."

After entering the bus, Ryu sat by the window in the middle. He likes sitting by the window, this way he can see the scenery while listening to music. During the duration of his ride, he was contemplating if he should finish PriCon first or play a different game after his nap.

As the bus was crossing an intersection, Ryu saw from his peripheral vision what seemed to be a truck. And then the next moment, a loud crash was heard.

Due to the truck losing its breaks, it was not able to slow down while passing the intersection. So it unfortunately crashed into a public bus, it was even almost cut in half due to the truck's speed.

When the paramedics arrived, they saw the wreckage of the bus and the truck in the middle of the intersection. Inside of the bus, the people in the middle of the bus where the impact was, were either heavily injured or dead. As for the rest of the passengers, they received a concussion or some broken bones.

One of the dead passengers they retrieved from the wreckage is the body of Ryu that had multiple broken bones all his body and a big gash on his head.

Somewhere in the vast omniverse, a goddess heard Ryu's wish when he died.

"You poor little soul."

"I will make your wish come true, and hopefully you are able to live your second life to the fullest."

"Hmm, let me add a little gift for you to use in that world."
