CHAPTER 7: Xinxin stood up for Momma
"dad, you always said I shouldn't forget my manners but seems like you are loosing yours, Momma shouldn't be blamed, she didn't give me the juice on purpose, I asked her to give it to me first" she said like a devil that she is
"yah little devil, did you see how your ungrateful father shouted at me? She asked
"big devil, don't mind him he will never understand our ways" she said
"well your dad didn't want me beside you and I have promised myself that I will return back to the states when I finally get over my infatuation for your dad" she said
"no momma you cant leave" xinxin said standing up
"jiang xinxin let her go she is not that important is she? JRF screamed
"dad! Did you stay by me? You give me everything I want but you never stated with me during my birthdays"she said
"XinXin she is your dad you shouldn't argue with him" yufei said
"I am telling the truth, I want you to stay, you can't affect me with your own infatuation"she blurted out
"I may have fell in love you at first sight but I found out that it was just infatuation, JRF, now you can have time for your daughter I'll leave" she said
"Momma don't go" XinXin wailed
"XinXin when did you start caring for outsiders like her? He asked
"Dad don't let her go pls she is my first friend"she wailed
"We have to let her go, I don't know the original reason why you brought her in but let go now"he said
Yufei smiled and left them there while XinXin cried 😭

The new year was uneventful for XinXin, her father forbade her from going out alone she would have gone to stay with Yufei.
"Why did you let her go? Your sturborn daughter can do anything to get her back" Ming Tian said when he came to met him
"Ming Tian, I think I am infatuated with her, and I want to get rid of it since she got rid of hers"he said
"Infatuation you say? Don't say you love her"
"I don't know I don't want to" he said
"May God help you and what are you going to do about your daughter? He asked
"We...he was interrupted by a call
"Master, XinXin is nowhere to be found" Mrs Lu his house help said
"Ming Tian, XinXin is gone!! He said scared
"Don't be scared, you Know how crafty your daughter is she will have gone meet Yufei" he said
"No she can't"
Just then his phone rang
"Hello JRF this is Qiao yufei, I have your daughter, come get her" she said and hung up
"That sounds more like a threat" he said and rush over to her house

On getting there, he met his daughter watching TV and eating Noddles on the couch
"XinXin" he called
XinXin looked back and hissed she left the room
"What's up with her? He asked nobody in particular
"I don't know why your daughter doesn't want to leave but of you wish she can stay here" Yufei aid from behind
"Really? Didn't you say you are going back to the States?
"I am still going,y flight is tommorow" she said
"Come out for a second I need to tell you something" he said and dragged her out

"Qiao yufei, you are a great woman, I can't deny I was overwhelmed when we first met but..... I can't return your love because....
"Of your wife right? Because of XinXin's mother right? She asked cutting him off
"No... And yes.... I need to tell you a secret"
"Okay?
"Actually, XinXin is not my daughter, She is my elder brother's daughter, her mother Xing Fri was the one that supported me to make my first debut song"
"Wow! What happened to them?
"Well....they died in a plane crash, while XinXin is just 3months old they decided to go for thier honeymoon because they already had XinXin before their wedding" he explained
"Did XinXin Know about this?
"No,I don't want her to know she is still a child, that's why I don't want you two to get too close, I have vowed not to get married until she knows" he said
"You know something Jiang Ruffeng, you are stupid, if you are not stupid how did what you said and Me and you being together correlate? Can't you understand I love you, you fool? She asked sobbing
"It's okay Yufei, didn't you say whatever that you have for me is Infatuation?
"It's love you mad man, but since you don't love me back, I don't want to ridicule myself that's why I lied" she said
"But I can't live you now for XinXin's sake but promise you won't tell her? He asked her
"I am not a fool you know?
"What if she didn't tell me and I know that myself? XinXin asked coming to them
"XinXin what.....what...." They both stammered
"Dad why don't you tell me this? I don't really care, Is that why you hurt Momma? She asked
"Am sorry daughter I am just worried" he said
"Dad dobnt if you love Momma marry her I a tired of chasing women from you, you know? She asked
"Hummm....that...I can't tell that now I have to think of it First"
"Dad? She pouted
"Don't worry XinXin, love can't be forced and besides My flight is tommorow"
"Momma why didn't you tell me? You two don't just asked me why I stopped my tantrums? She asked
They both shaked their head is negative affirmation
"Well...my classmates are saying I don't have a mother they said that My father used my mother as a sacrifice to Buddha for Fame! She said crying
"Sorry Little devil.....but I have to leave, so I can get over my Infatuation" Yufei patted her back
"Now be a good girl and go with daddy" she said leaving them on the spot
After they got home XinXin broke down
"Dad am missing her already, don't let her go pls" she cried
"XinXin, I can't just live like that, I am a public figure what will fans say? He asked
"Who cares about your godforsaken fans? She shouted
"XinXin shut up! What did you know about love" he shouted on her and left her there while Mrs Lu came to let her
"Mrs Lu. Momma is going tomorrow morning" she cried in the old woman's arms 🥺

"Xinwei, I have to let that Father and daughter know that I am not an easy Catch" she said back
"What if they didn't come to get you back from the airport?
"Then I will leave China for good, I will come back during your Wedding" she said packing her bags
"But still Yufei I don't think this is the best option to choose" xinwei said worriedly
"Whether it's best or not, I don't come to China for love, I came to China for fun and to enjoy my life, but it's seems not so I'll go back to where I come from and take Dad's offer" she said
After she hung up
"She really wants to leave? Ming Tian asked
"Yes, i am worried about XinXin"
"Ming Tian also have some feelings for the lady but I guess the feeling is still new to him"
"I pray everything goes well" Xinwei said
Thus Yufei packed to go back to the States
