Andreas's POV

I was able to scare the vampires just a little but with this woman as their leader, they were not ready to leave yet. This was obviously not her first encounter with a werewolf. She did flinch at the sight of my wolf but it was not enough to send her running.

"We mean no harm", She said in a loud voice. "It's rude to threaten us like this. You should treat us as the respectable guests that we are" She added. "We just want to talk."

I saw the other werewolves of the pack exchanging glances and I understood why. It was the Alpha that was supposed to play hosts to these vampires. But since he was no more and a successor had not been chosen, the werewolves were not sure whose responsibility it now was.
