Chapter 28

Phillip's POV

Was that a smile? For the first time in years, Andreas was actually smiling and I didn't remember saying anything funny. I noticed he wasn't wearing his signature frown and his aura was a little less intimidating. What had come over my brother?

I was even more surprised when he found himself a seat. Andreas never liked to visit and I knew his reasons. He never sat down for our occasional meetings because he always wanted to do everything in haste before getting on his way. But as I watched him get comfortable, I was curious to know what had brought about the sudden change.

"I would like to talk about something very important, Phillip" He said.

I didn't like how Andreas always comfortably addressed me by my first name. No one ever did that, not even alphas of other packs. Him referring to me without honorifics only meant that he had no regard for me as alpha and the thought just made my blood boil.
