-" There is something here that caught the interest of the Eternal Sun Sect, we discovered it after connecting the information Byrth, Luckas and our scouts brought, Philips thinks that this treasure is the reason for the mutation occurring in the bests in the verdant forest."

Alan and Byrth were surprised, especially Byrth who quickly understood what Jeffrey was talking about.

-" Are you talking about the place where I found the Eternal Sun Sect Cultivators? " Byrth was surprised that his past encounter was important now.

-" Yes, the group you found was sent here to investigate this matter, and now we suspect that they come to keep an eye on this treasure."

-" Didn't they come here because of the Heigong? They already spent four months here, how much more will they wait?" Alan felt excited about the supposed treasure.

-" Why not both? If the Eternal Sun Sect wants this treasure, the Heigong will likely try to obtain it too, if they know about it at least." Luckas was comfortable after having a better idea of the situation.

-" If the Heigong knows about this, they would move, even if they didn't want this treasure, they can't let the Eternal Sun Sect have its way." Philips already knew that the Heigong would involve themselves in this matter.

-" They must be keeping track of the Eternal Sun Sect movements, they didn't really try to hide their presence here." Jeffrey was most warry of the Heigong in this situation, if they decided to move against the Eternal Sun Sect here the battle would be immense.

-" Are we going to try to get the treasure? It may be a waste to not even contest it." Luckas wanted to know all the details of the situation for finishing his plan.

-" I'm currently looking for my brother, if he is with us, we may have a better chance, do you have any plans Luckas?" Philips sounded frustrated, it looked like his search was for naught.

-" Yes, but, I need some time for finishing the details, for now, we should move more forces to deal with the more dangerous bandits, after all, putting the soldier in the confront against the Heigong and Eternal Sun Sect will be too dangerous."

-" Jeffrey call me when Luckas finish the draft, if I don't find Maven in one week i will be back to reinforce the camp."

Jeffrey nodded and finished the call, emotions were visible in his eyes as he thought about his grandfather, it was a very long time since he saw him.

-" Tomorrow morning I will have an outline for our plan, I'm accompanying Byrth to his previous village today, but we will come back today."

Jeffrey nodded, he didn't asks Luckas to stay in the camp and finish the plan fast as possible as he trusted him, Luckas presence was getting evne more important in the army.

As everyone left the tent together Alan stopped Luckas, Byrth didnt have a good impression of the man so he wanted to ignore him, but, Luckas held him by the shoulder.

-" I want to talk to you about something." Alan had a serious face as he approached Luckas.

-" I'm all ears." Luckas didn't try to be friendly with Alan as his attitude earlier made Luckas a little mad.

-" While I have divergences with you, and don't approve your current role in the army, this comes from your lack of merits and neblous background, but, the new army counselor will be diferent, I know the limits of my insolence towards Sir Jeffrey and Sir Philips so I don't even think of going to far with my actions against you, Sammy is different, he is young, reckelss and most of all, his contempt for common people is giant."

Luckas and Byrth gaze hardened as they heard Alan, they didn't think he would warn them.

-" Oh, Will he try any foul play?" Luckas still maintened his calm atittude, but, deep down he knew that his calm days were coming to an end.

-" Very likely, he is from the Johnston family, and they have quite the standing in the territory, this made him grow sheltered and daring if you stay close to Jeffrey and cautious I doubt he could do anything to you two, but, caution is never enough."

-" I appreciate your warnings." Luckas took Alan's warning seriously, if even he thought that he was too daring this Sammy must be a dangerous fellow.

-" Don't worry, Sammy even irks me, besides that, you already proved that you're capable enough for this role, my only suspicions is your background, if you keep like this gathering merits is only a matter of time." Alan serious face didn't leave his face, he learned to never trust mysterious people.

-" If i could explain matters related to my past I easily would, but, it was Sir Philips who instructed me to keep it a secret." Luckas smirked as he talked, he knew that his mysterious background would be a problem in the future. " Not even Byrth knows about it."

Alan's face betrayed him and signs of surprise apeared, he didn't think that Luckas background would be so serious to even involve Philips. Anything that Philips showed interest in was bound to be something unique.

-" Oh, this almost made me more curious than suspicious of you, but, in the end, I can't trust you completely yet."

Luckas laughed and nodded, he knew that Alan family was heavily involved in the military, so he must be very concerned about those affairs, especially when an unknown person suddenly becomes a top officer in the army.

-" I understand your frustations, I hope that soon Sir Philips feels safe enough to tell everyone about my past. In the mean time, if you need some favor from us, don't feel shy and ask."

-"Just helping me be sent to where the Tuivell thugs are is enough."
