Mrs. Mandy's plan

I got home really tired that evening,my mom was already in bed.I just went straight to bed,I was really exhausted.

(Anderson's mansion)

It was a beautiful morning in the Anderson's house,the family were at the dinning table for breakfast.

" Honey,how was the contract you signed last week" (ms mandy said breaking the silence in the room) " ohh,it's good leon met with the contractor and everything has been finalized" ( mr Davin replied) ..."mmm mm( clears throat) rose cleared her throat " mom why is leon not here today??.. I thought you asked him to stop by"... " yh,I did give him a call, but he's quite busy this days I don't think he'll come" ( ms mandy replied) " we all know he's a workaholic,but can't he make some time for his family?!.( rose). ( hmmm) ms Mandy exclaimed.

" I just feel sad for my son ever since his last break up,he hasn't been able to move on with other girls...I wish he'll just forget about Chloe and move on"

everywhere went silent again." I'm done eating...I'll get going now" Mr Davin got up and exited the room.

After Mr Davin left,ms Mandy decided to visit her son in his office.

( Leon's office)

( knock knock)..." come in"( said Leon) " Mr Anderson...your mom's here to see you"(Leon's manager reported) " tell her to come in"...the door opened and Ms Mandy walked in. "son" she said excitedly...mmm mm ( clears throat) " why did you come to see me mom,you know I'm busy this days,is there something you have to discuss with me?!". " so I can't come and see my own son again??...anyway you are right I do have something to discuss with you" ..."if it is what I am thinking don't bother talking I won't listen" Leon said with a straight face.

" Are you still struggling over what Chloe did to you??.you know you can't get any younger" an..." mom( yelled) you know what,I'm busy right now can we talk later I have a meeting to get to" .( Leon said before his mother could finish her word and left the room) " I'll have to do something about this" she said talking out her phone from the bag and dial a number.

( Amber's work place)

( ring) I was taking customers orders when my phone was ringing ( picks call) " Hello??...who is this please" I said

" Hello dear,it's ms Mandy" ( caller spoken)

" ohh, ma'am how have you been"

" I'm good,em can we meet at the cafe near your shop and have coffee together today??"(Ms Mandy asked).

" sure ma'am,what time"

"meet me there by three"

" okay ma'am I'll be there" I said ( ends call).

I wonder why she wants to have coffee together,anyway I'll get back to work.

( At the cafe)

Ms Mandy was already in the cafe by the time I got there..." Amber,over here" ms Mandy called waving at me ,I walk to where she was sitting and sat across her table.

" Hello ma'am,sorry I'm late I had some work to do"

" ohh,it's nothing I haven't been here for that long so it's fine" .she called the waiter and ordered our coffee .

" so,how are you feeling now ma'am" I said

" I'm okay,I'm perfectly fine thanks to you saving my life the other day"( she smiled).

" ohh it's nothing ma'am"

"so, Amber I actually wants to thank you for saving my life and I also wants to discuss something with you ,but first tell me about your self" ( I told her about myself and my family)

" How old are you,Amber"she asked.

" I'm turning 21 next month ma'am"

" that's nice" she smiled

" so do you have someone you're currently dating"she asked looking serious.the question was a little weird but I said no." No ma'am I don't, I was always busy with work and taking Care of my mom I didn't get a chance to date"

" I also have a son about your age,he's very handsome and hardworking"

" I'm sure he is, you are his mother " I said .

" I want you to be my son's girlfriend" ms Mandy said looking serious.I was so shocked that I spat out the coffee in my mouth.

"I'm so sorry ma'am,pardon my manners.I think I misheard you...

"I can see that you are the perfect match for my son" she said

I looked at her stunned" I'm sorry ma'am I don't think that will be possible,I can't date your son,the son I don't even know.sorry ma'am I'll take my leave now"

"how about this,I'll pay you 6 million just to stay by his side for six months" she said grabbing my wrist.

" sorry ma'am I can't do it I'll take my leave now"

I quickly got up and left the cafe.

(Ms Mandy's thoughts) I really like Amber she is a perfect match for my son,I'm sure she will be able to make Leon forget about Chloe.)
