Rushing through the front door and inside, I had abruptly interrupted a meeting with Mirana, Amy, and Kira.
"Xie! " Staring at him in disbelief, I flinched at his touch as his radiating light was blinding me from seeing clearly. "Xie... What's wrong with your face..? "
Feeling nauseous, I stumbled back and smacked against the counter, knocking down an old flower vase with dead flowers.
Pushing his hand away, I shut my eyes and found my way around to the stairs. Once there, I spoke in a clear voice as I spoke.
"I got hurt with some chemicals while looking for Rin... That's what these scars over my body are, sorry, but, I'm going to keep searching for Rin until I find her. "
"Xie! " Turning and walking up, I ignored Kira calling my name. "You can't just keep disappearing on us without telling us where your going! "
Stopping halfway up the stairs, I spoke with an uneasy tone.
"Even so, should you be worrying more about your wife than a stranger... "
"That's not-"
"Thanks for your concern... If you'll need me, I'll be in my room until tomorrow morning... Night. "

Laying down on my bed, I couldn't control my thoughts as all sorts of strange things had begun closing my eyes to the warm colors off in the distance. Its become so couded with worry, fear, and stained with anger.
Even now, as I lift my hand and hold out my hand, I can see my own light turning deeper and colorless. Its almsot as if, along with my eyes, my color was beginning to match how I felt to some extent.
Turning around, I curled up and stared at the various small scars around my hand and arm as I wondered what I was really doing. Continuously questioning and doubting myself, I plunged deeper into an abyss that tore away color from reality. The warmth, the bright and abundant shine that once held true when I was...
Tilting my head, I wondered what I was comparing color to as I never once had such a sweet memory. Even my own time had been used for the sake of convincing myself there was a brighter horizon over the mountain of doubt and anxiety.
Now, I can't seem to muster up the sentiment as to what I should be doing. It was then that it hit me and I reilized the new purpose I now held thanks to Pira.
Sitting up, I then began ti doubt why I was chosen as every tine I approached the subject with Pira, she would ignore or change the direction conversation. Having given up asking, I blew a cold breath if air and incidently created a smoke cloud that didn't dissolve.
Gliding mg fingers through it like water, I fell back while playfully holding it like a pillow and pondered what my next step was.
Closing my eyes as the soft touch if the small cloud soothed my stressed mind and out me at ease, falling gently asleep.
~
Waking to an empty bed, I sat up and turned to see my door wide open. Clearing up my eyes, I looked around and slowly and wondered if I sent the cloud I made yesterday to Pira.
Snapping, I jumped up and half slipped while rushing out the door and turning either way in the hallway. Hearing subtle noises in the towns room, I rushed and found Mili holding the cloud while Milo kept a watchful eye over it.
"Hey! " Heading in and taking the cloud back, Mili and Milo both asked all sorts of questions. "Its... A new toy I picked up on my way home yesterday. Don't touch other people's things! "
Cutting them off as I rushed back to my room, I locked the door and swiftly opened a small mirror to send the cloud over. As it closed, I sat back on my bed and bumped my head over somthing smooth.
Lifting my arms dn touching somthing soft, a sweet sigh echoed as I opened dmye yes and stared up beside me. It was Amy and she was in a bathrobe while brushing her teeth. All with the look of shock as she just saw me open a mirror out of thin air.
"You... Are... Dreaming? " Blinking slowly I hummed and attacked her while preying onto of her to meet my gaze. "Amy... What you saw was just a magic trick... Okay? "
Looking into both my eyes, she suddenly for up and left my room in a calm motion. Sitting on my bed, I raised my head and collapse into my pillow where I screamed out my carelessness.
~
Heading down from my room to the kitchen, Amy went on with her day as the twins continued pestering me about earlier. Ignoring them, I sat down beside Amy and turned to look at her calm and collected gaze as she ate breakfast as Mirana got up early to prepare.
"You didn't... See anything, right? I mean, there wasn't anything... Right? " Puzzled to figure out what she saw, I ate quickly and went out with her on her way to school.
~
"Come on, Amy! Please, tell me what you saw-haw..! " Losing my composure as if that of a kid, she let out a subtle smirk. "H-hey! You! What! Agh! "
Walking ahead, I stood while trying to clam myself and in an abrupt moment, my own light bursted out of me as if time had stopped. Opening my eyes slowly, I found Amy's flustered face so close to mine as we were in the middle of a kiss.
Shocked, confused, and overwhelmed by the sudden pressure my light was binding inside me, Amy slowly opened her eyes and stepped back. She then looked around and smiled in awe as if she had expected something to happen.
Quick to anger, my light sharply turned and fled back into me as I stared at Amy in confusion.
"With this new secret of yours... You'll just have to please me to keep my mouth shut... Shh! Don't worry, I'll keep quiet now that I have something to, hold in good faith, if you will... Which means-" Leaning close to whisper in my ear, my general analysis of Amy was way off base. "I can do anything I want to you from now on... "
Brushing her nose beside my cheek, she looked at me with such intensity in her eyes as she twirled and headed off to school.
Catching on shortly after, I threw a slight fit and wondered wondered if anything in my life was ever going to be normal.
Heading back home with a scrambled head, I went up to my room where I collapsed and slept to pass the time as I figured things out.
