When I’m Not Around

It was the first week of college and all of the freshman decided to throw a welcome party at the end of the week on a Saturday night. All the seniors came to join just to drink and check out the freshman. I met a girl name Seulbi and we eventually became friend. She had a boyfriend who is a year above us, who they've been together for 3 years.

*Bzzz Bzz*

"Soo Young ah, you phone is ringing"

"Hmm?"

"Your phone is ringing. (Whisper) Honey, didn't I told you not to bring these Sunbaenim to join us? Look they made her drink too much"

"Do you know anyone who can come pick her up then?"

"She told me she had a childhood friend whose also in college"

*Bzz Bzzz*

"Pick up her phone and tell to the person who is calling her to pick her up babe"

"Let me see... (Look at the phone, *Taeyang calling* *Slide to answer*) Hell—"

"Ya Chubs, why aren't you answering my call? Where are you? My mom made me bring some side dishes for you and I'm outside of your apartment and your no—"

Quickly and quietly, Seulibi hand over the phone to her boyfriend and said, "It's a mans voice, it's better if you talk to him"

*Taeyang couldn't hear properly*

"Hello? Soo you—"

"Oh hello? Sorry I'm not Soo Young"

".... sorry, who are you? Where's Soo Young?"

"Ah sorry, I'm Soo Young's friend's boyfriend and she's really drunk. You happen to call, can you come pick her up?"

"Ah I'll come right now, can you tell me the location?"

— At the party —

"Who called again?"

Seulibi softly speak "Soo Young Ah, one of your guardian is coming to pick you up, where's your bag? We need to get you ready—"

*Drunk*

"Huh? But I want more~"

"You can—"

"You can't anymore, I'm taking you home" (Taeyang interrupted as he look exhausted from running all the way to their location)

"Taeyang, why are you here? I can sleep now since you're her.." *Falls asleep*

"Hello, sorry for the disturbance. I'll be taking her then" (he bow at them and took Soo Young away)

(Seulbi) "He looked handsome, but his cold face give off a deadly stare. Will she be okay?"

— Arrive at the Apartment —

"Soo Young wake up. Where's your key?" (Searching through her, found the key in her pocket inside her jacket)

He opens the door and drag her down to her bedroom. The side dishes that he left behind was kind of ruin because he hurriedly left dropping them to the ground. He put everything down in the kitchen and finally took of her jacket, her shoes and carry her off to her bed. He put her in bed and went back to put the side dishes into the fridge. He got a towel and a bowl of water and went back to her bedroom and sat beside her.

"Why'd you get so drunk? I only see a whole bunch of guys, do you not know what their intention may be? Jeesh, what would happen if your friend didn't answer the phone telling me that you were dead drunk?"

Looking at her selfishly sleep in peace without any sign of awareness.

*sigh* *inhale* *exhale*

"Don't drink when I'm not around jeesh, you stupid brat. Look at you, can't even wait to sleep when I arrive."

"Don't do things carelessly when I'm not around," as he lower his head to look at her face and finally give her a forehead kiss.

As he scan over her face and couldn't help but brush off her bangs from her face and wipe down her face down to her neck with the towels he brought. She sleep so beautifully, her perfectly soft natural pink that shows on her lips, and the lashes on her eyes that gives off the beautiful scenery that he is witness that he couldn't help but give her a kiss on the lip secretly.

"This what happen what you let your guard down, do you not know how I feel after being together all these years?"
