Ellie
Three weeks later...
A reflection stared back at me in the full-length mirror, my hands trembling as I adjusted the delicate lace of my wedding gown. Nervousness and excitement coursed through my veins like wildfire.
This was the day I'd been dreaming of, and now that it was here, I couldn't help but feel a sense of panic.
"Nervous?" Ivy asked.
I nodded.
"Don't be. You look amazing. Giovanni might pass out when he sees you," she said seriously.
I giggled.
The door creaked open, and Aidan stepped into the room. His presence instantly calmed my nerves. He offered a reassuring smile, his eyes filled with understanding. "Wow, Ellie. You look stunning."
"Thank you," I whispered, trying to steady my shaking hands.
"Are you ready?" he asked, extending his arm for me to take.
