My Cheat IS Unrivaled!

Seth, a webnovel otaku like you and me, who is broke asf, has a mother in coma, and a dead father, - and running a dying noodle shack while he's at it, is transmigrated to an eastern fantasy cultivation type world. Whoopie! Its a dream come true! He does not care how it happened, and neither does he care why. What he does care about though, is growing strong like the MCs he had read about and making sure he leads a far better life here than he did on earth. He instantly begins to find his own 'cheat' that would set him apart from the other cultivators in the sectdom, be it a thousand year old spirit herb, or a magical beast that obeys him. Why wouldn't he, when, his life manual is basically a lifetimes worth of movies, anime, and online novels? But hey, shit happens and it turns out that the 'cheat' he manages to obtain is a very unlikely one that is far more than meets the eye. Who the hell would have thought that his last name, Serpentis, wasn't just a hell of an awful name, but also the title of a very powerful clan who could rival even the gods? "Sethren Serpentis, the Prince of Serpents, and heir to the Throne of Venom... I think that has a nice ring to it." With an uncanny cohort made up of a soul broken young mistress with sort of a personality disorder, a lecherous jade beauty dual cultivator whose... questionable techniques are rather disturbing, a blind swordswoman.. for some strange reason, a wimpy excuse of a cultivator who can see the future - so she's not completely useless, and a red headed dude who might as well be the sturdiest guy alive, Seth uses the power of his cheat to... Er... do what again? Ah, I can't really remember. I guess you'd have to read the rest of the book to find out. ✌ ;-)

The transmigrator doesn't die!

Seth and the disembodied mouth head plunged dozens of metres down towards the desert floor. The ghastly head had quite the inertia, as it did not budge an inch despite the air pressure pushing back at them. After falling headlong for a few minutes, their free fall soon came to an abrupt end as the sword smashed bladefirst into the frozen sand. Seth was thrown a few metres away from the impact, while the disembodied head was nowhere to be seen. Swiftly, he dashed towards the greatsword and caught it by its hilt. Only then could he manage to take a deep breath and glare at his surroundings. The hunched demon could not harm him now, not when he was armed with a flying greatsword made from the carapace of a spirit level beast!

In this world, all beasts coil be grouped up into seven tiers. The weakest were the common Mundane level beasts. And then there were the Awakened level beasts, Ascended level beasts, Spirit level beasts, Demon level beasts, Daemon level beasts, and Deity level beasts. Each one far stronger than the previous one. The creature attacking him could not be higher than the spirit level, right? Because the creatures of the demon level and beyond could only be found in the nether realms.

A terrifying shriek broke Seth out of his thoughts, as his head quickly snapped to his left. There, the disembodied head had grown a body of its own, and was swiftly approaching his location. He was neither too strong, nor was he very fast, but at least he was fast enough to evade the rather slow humped demon. The creature repeatedly slashed at him with it's long claws, but he dodged them all by a hairs breadth. Right now, he was really missing the system. At least with the system, he could grow stronger with the stat points. The black haired youth was barely surviving the assault, as he focused all his attention on the claws flying at him with murderous killing intent. One mistake would be the end of him. One error, and he would be sliced into two without any form of resistance. But he continued to persevere, at least for now. Yet another claw brushed past his face, shaving a few centimetres off his overgrown hair, as his eyes widened and he faltered. He had finally made a mistake. His left foot had hit his right foot, and he was falling headlong to the cold ice floor. The beast picked up on the error, and swiftly thrust its longer than normal claws at his falling body, but was met with a loud 'clang' instead. At the last moment, he twisted his torso aiming to cleave off the creature's entire hand. Luckily, he managed to block the claws that would have impaled his body, but to his dismay, only the hilt of Baek Sunghoon's greatsword lay in his hand. A weapon created from a spirit level beast has broken to pieces just like that. Seth would have panicked, as he had just lost what would have been his only lifeline in this hell, but he had other tricks up his sleeve. Looking at his other hand while rolling away from the beast trying to poke through him, Seth managed to crack a smile as the white ethereal energy had finally solidified in the shape of a dagger. Seth would have never been content with merely dodging the beast's attack, as he would eventually tire and get caught anyway. Thus, he used the time to slowly build a weapon to defend himself. He would have gone with a shield, but building something that big at his current level of proficiency would take hours, and time was not at his side.

Finally, the beast had caught up to him, and once again threw its claws at his head, but Seth twisted his body as much as was humanly possible, and threw his newly formed dagger at the creature's head. Actually, he threw it at its chest, precisely where it's heart would have been, but his terrible aim got the dagger flinging at the creature's head. With a sickening squelch, the creature's claws had impaled Seth's shoulder as he was unable to completely evade the wide coverage that the five metre long bones could reach, but at the same time, the dagger dug deep into the empty eyeholes filled with ethereal darkness, and went flying out of the other side. The smiling head in the mouth of the creature shrieked and writhed about, before opening its own mouth, and red energy poured into the creatures body, and when the energy had solidified, it formed another perfectly disgusting head.

Seth had managed to crawl away during the smiling head's tantrum, and could only watch with his mouth agape. Even if he did nor mean to, a strike to the head was always fatal, yet the beast had recovered from it like it was nothing. But it did not take him long to realize that the main culprit was the eerily smiling head within the vile creature's mouth.

'So that's how it is...'

If he were to remove the smiling head, then wouldn't the beast die? The former one had crumbled into ash almost as soon as it launched the smiling head, and the head had formed a new body when it landed. It was obvious, that the head was like its true body, and the body was like armor.

"I'll just have to destroy the smiling head!"

Seth swiftly got up to his feet, as the daggers very slowly elongated into a longsword. He had managed to create quite a large gap between himself and the creature while it was healing itself. The creature, now done with its repairs, quickly pinpointed his location and lunged at him. However Seth, despite initially not even wanting to fight this battle, steadied the longsword above his head and charged at the monster. Only one of them could live, and the other had to die.

"I'm the transmigrator, and the transmigrator doesn't die till the end of the novel!"

No. Seth was not going to die. It was either the creature died, or it escaped, because he would never let it go alive. He'd just blame the creature for Asami's death and let his anger handle it.
