Chapter 31 - The Third Warning

"you heard me, Jihye" The Korean sighed sadly, she already wanted to call her father and instantly call the guards to check on the house. She just wants everything to be normal.

"W-what should I do?" She asked

"Do what I told you a while ago. That's just the way for the three warnings to finish" Jihye breathed in and out wanting to wake up on this bad dream if it is.

"Jihye!" Megan said sighing "I've been waiting for you for almost fifteen minutes, why aren't you? -- what are you looking at? I mean, I know your wife is so pretty but please I'm starving and Suzy will be mad in no time" Megan looked at Jihye and she wasn't saying anything "Are you okay? It seems like you saw a ghost or something" She asked worriedly since she was gripping her phone

"I-I need to p-protect m-my wife" Megan knows this message already, it seems like Ben already showed up and Megan felt sad wanting to comfort her friend and tell her everything will be alright in no time. 

"Okay, let's talk about this while we're ordering our dinner. Let's go" Jihye nodded and they left.

The restaurant was just near the office so they just walk for Jihye to relax and don't think so much. She was certainly worried, for sure whatever that is it might have affected her since she looks so worried and scared that her life will be gone at any moment.

They sat in the chair when they finished ordering, it was good for the four of them. Megan also decided to buy water for Jihye wanting her to breathe. Jihye finally spoke up about it, telling her that Liam was out in jail and she was scared that he might be the one causing trouble on the third warning. She doesn't know what to do, she was also scared knowing Liam has a lot of weapons that she couldn't fight him, but this is her wife's life, she promised herself that she will risk everything for her.

Megan just gives her some advice and she will surely help her hire some professional bodyguards just for the married couple, she will also try to contact her father who's a policeman, and her professional lawyer. Megan is truly the best friend, she will always be there for her best friend whether it's good or bad.

They got back in the company and instantly made their way into the meeting room, when her wife saw her she knew that something was bothering her already and maybe it was all about this. She can't lie to her wife, she knows her so damn well.

Lauren was looking at her from time to time while listening to the agent, she was worried. She wanted to end the meeting already since Suzy also noticed Jihye's blunt face. It was an agonizing hour for her, she just wanted to end everything and give her wife the full hug that she deserves.

After finally two hours the meeting ended, Lauren waited for the people to leave the room and instantly make her way to her wife, who was looking down and fidgeting with her fingers. Oh god, she knows this action so much that it sometimes kills her, she looks so worried and helpless.

"Baby..talk to me," She said caressing her wife's cheek, Lauren gazed at Megan "did she cry?" She mouthed while Megan nodded. Lauren sigh and hug her wife tightly and that's when Jihye sobbed "That's a right baby. Let it out" she advised rubbing her wife's back and kissing her head from time to time.

Lauren's business outfit is wet but she couldn't care less her wife needed her, she will always be there for her whatever happens and it will never change because the love for her wife is something that she wants her to feel every day. Knowing, Jihye gave everything to her she will forever cherish her.  The love, the things that she likes, the personality, and the dream marriage that she truly wants. Everything was with her already and it seems like she married a whole package person.

After thirty minutes, Jihye already calmed down and Suzy handed her some water. Jihye thanked her, Lauren escorted her in the chair wanting to hear the reason why she became so sad and what makes her worried. Suzy and Megan opened the food and they wanted to listen, though Lauren knew Suzy will be weirded out by it since the CEO never told her about this because she was scared that she might not believe her. But for Megan..well it seems like everything was going so serious now since the realizations and actions were hitting her already, she knows this is real.

"Did you see him?" Lauren asked whispering while kissing her wife's hair, Jihye nodded while she sigh and hug her tightly "what did he tell you?"

"Liam was out in the jail already and he was spying on us" Lauren's eyes widened while Suzy's mouth hung open while eating the chicken not believe what she was hearing

"Is this true?" She asked, Jihye nodded

"Lauren, I need to protect you. I can't let anything happen to you especially we have Jayden. I can't afford to lose you. Please" She said sadly

"O-okay..." Lauren looked at Megan and she was nodding since she's won't stop saying please, she was desperate she was shaken up, she was scared.

"We'll work things out okay? Today, you just have to calm down. I'll stick by your side alright? And I promise we'll do everything together okay?" She said caressing her wife's cheek and kissing the corner of her lips "Don't cry baby. I'm here, I won't be gone not ever" she mumbled

Suzy couldn't help but coo while Megan was so busy eating like she has her world. It wasn't certainly a long time before Jihye calms down, she started eating and all Lauren would want is to make Jihye forget what happened this night and she will make sure when they got home they will spend their night in their shared bedroom.

After they ate dinner, Lauren decided to walk with Suzy explaining everything to her. She was very shocked at first but when Lauren mentioned that Megan knows everything it seems like everything is sinking to her already.

They were outside the company already and they saw Megan and Jihye talking with the guards probably wanting to follow them wherever they go. Lauren understands it besides her wife just wanted to protect her. 

"You ready to go Hon?" Jihye asked her wife

"Yes," Jihye nodded and told her to wait so she could get the car in the parking lot. Of course, Lauren was also worried wanting to stop her wife from going to the parking lot but she instantly saw two bodyguards following her and she sigh in relief

"Jihye loves you," Megan said while holding Suzy's tummy, they were snuggling to each other. Lauren smiled

"I know, I love her too" the CEO looked at where Megan's hand was in she was surprised that it was in her girlfriend's tummy "so...it seems like there's something that you need to tell me, Suzy.."

"Oh, I do.."

"Open up," The CEO said excitedly while the two couples giggled

Suzy took something from her purse and handed it to Lauren. She was confused at first but seeing the ultrasound she knows what this means.

"Suzy...you're not" Suzy nodded "Suzy..I-I swear if this is some kind of prank, I will kill you" Suzy laugh

"Hey! Don't you trust me?! I've been working for you for almost half of your father's life. But I swear, Lauren. I'm pregnant, we're starting a family" Lauren laughs happily and gives her secretary slash best friend a tight hug

"Congratulations to the both of you, I didn't know that this sweet innocent little Suzy will be pregnant," she said squishing both of her cheeks, Suzy whined but Lauren found it cute

"Promise that you'll help me with this pregnancy even though Megan is here with me"

"You know I will" Lauren mouthed while smiling, Suzy chuckled and the familiar honk was heard "Anyway, I have to go! I'll see you both tomorrow or next week alright?"

"Alright! Have a safe night you two!" Lauren showed a thumbs up and gave her a flying kiss and Jihye opened the car door for her waving her hands to the couple and walking back to the car.

The ride was silent but Jihye's hand was intertwined in her wife's hand while the other one was in the steering wheel, the noise that can be heard is the radio. Lauren was also texting Chahee how Jayden was doing and surprisingly he was enjoying his time there since Kai and Krystal were home and he was close with them.

She also texted her Mom telling her that they were on their way home going straight to rest since she was exhausted. After thirty minutes of the ride. They finally arrived, Jihye didn't forget to open the car door for her wife and they instantly went inside.

The married couple went straight to their bedroom and Lauren was unbolting her wife's bottom-up sleeves while Jihye was biting her lips.

"What are we gonna do?" She asked snaking her arms to her wife's waist

"I'll help you relax and forget the things that happened today," She mumbled kissing her wife's neck

Jihye sighed "Y-you d-don't h-have too" she mumbled liking the way her wife's tongue roam around her neck

"I want to, I want to take control of you tonight. Can I?" She asked, her hands are making their way to her wife's belt undoing it.

"Y-yes," she said shuttering. Lauren smirked and pulled down her pants

"Let's start then" Lauren kissed her wife passionately and started their night full of intimacy.

As promised, Lauren was the one who controlled her wife, she was so soft last night, it wasn't rough. It seems like it was their first time since Lauren was being gentle and being so sweet telling her how much she loves her while pleasuring her, every sound that Jihye was making Lauren was saying or telling the reason why she loves her and Jihye found it so sweet.

She will always cherish this moment with her, it was a long night but it was memorable. She always loves the intimacy of her wife and it will never change.

It was already ten in the morning when Jihye woke up, she panicked when she felt her wife wasn't beside her but she instantly saw the note that she was in the kitchen with the dogs making breakfast. She sighed in relief and smiled to herself.

She saw the stains that were visible in the sheets and she smiled at the thought, her wife was certainly something else last night.

"Lauren, you're making me crazy" she mumbled while sitting up wearing her boxers only and going straight to the bathroom to freshen up.

It wasn't long before she went out, she was supposed to say Hi to Kum who was waiting for her outside the room when she heard Lauren's voice.

"JIHYE! PLEASE HELP ME!" Jihye's heart was beating fast already she was nervous, she heard the familiar voice and it didn't take her long before she came down and to her horror the man that they were avoiding was there, smirking at her while his arms are in her wife's neck and her right hand was pointing at her head.

"L-Liam, w-we could t-talk p-properly. J-just p-please p-put the gun d-down" Jihye said shakily while her both hands are raised

"N-no! Y-you did all of this! My fucking life is ruined and my family work and career this is all your fault!" He shouted

"I will give you back the things that you want. Just let go of my wife and don't hurt her" Liam smirked while looking at Lauren who was now crying begging for help from her lovely wife

"You will give me anything?" He asked devilishly

"Yes. Liam Everything" He laughs

"Well. I'm holding the one that I like and...love" he whispered "Get out of my way! I'm going home"

"JIHYE! PLEASE!" Lauren said sobbing struggling to breathe already

"Liam! No, y-you can't. She's my fucking wife" Jihye pointed the gun to him while Liam smirked

"Get out of my way!" Liam ran while Lauren was in her hands, the CEO was struggling and the bodyguards are stopping him but he is pointing the gun at every one of them. He managed to put Lauren in the car and she was trying to get out but Liam instantly drove off going at a fast pace.

Jihye was following behind, she called Megan that he needed to call her father and an ambulance in case something happened. If this is what Ben was saying...she's hoping for the best to save her wife, she will be trying her best to protect her at all costs.

"Liam, please just let me go" Lauren begged

"No! You fucking left me and married that nonsense person! She's dumb and your dumb. You're supposed to be with me! Not her! No one else's but for me!" Liam shouted not looking at the way

"Liam, I'll just give your family's company back and your career. We can talk this out"

"NO...!" Liam started to ramble while Lauren was covering her ears already she was scared. The boy wasn't paying attention to the road and they were fast.

"LIAM!" Just then, they ran into a big three. The car crashed and Liam was bleeding. Lauren was unconscious. She bumped hard into the window causing her to pass out but her head was bleeding.

Jihye cried not knowing what to do, she was scared. Her wife was there, the love of her life. She needs to be there. She quickly went out of her car and made her way to her wife who was now unconscious and bleeding.

"Baby...wake up" Jihye sobbed, just then the ambulance came and the couples also arrived.

"What will happen to me?" Jihye mumbled to herself
