Chapter 85- Back to Work.

Raina's POV.

"She's fiesty, that's nice, I'll welcome you more when you become a vampire." The king said and I bowed with a smile.

I was so excited, I didn't know how to control myself, the ruling was in our favour, even though they tried so hard to make him punished, he was going to leave this place unscarred and untouched.

"The ruling is finally over, the two vampires guilty will be punished, the court is not dismissed." The king said standing up from his throne, he went down to the attendant and whispered something and left the hall.

The council hall was noisy when he left, everyone talked at the same time.

"I think it's about time we leave Raina." Lyn said as she came closer to us and I nodded, I also wanted to leave and loose my cool outside, wanted to squeal and dramatically congratulate Bas for winning, I couldn't do it here without stares and I didn't appreciate the stares.

"I'm ready to leave, if you are." I told Bas and he nodded with a smile, he waved to his grandfather who signaled him to go on.

He took my hands and we left, I noticed Matteo and Gabriel join us, his mother and the other two vampires who followed came too, I saw his dad join with a smile after greeting some vamps at the court.

"Won't you say hi, to them?" His father ask clasping his hands on Bas shoulders.

"I don't have to, do I?" Bas asked shrugging and his dad laughed.

"Let's just go, but we'll wait for Grandfather outside, he told me to tell you all that we should wait." Lyn said and moved ahead.

We left to the outskirts of the council, and we found a corner to stand, it was going to be a long wait as Bas's Grandfather knew lots of vamps there and was even part of the council, I was a little tired and I really needed rest, I wished he could greet them all immediately, so we could go back to the castle.

"How long are we going to wait for a social butterfly?" Bas asked after ten minutes passed.

"I think we should just leave, he might come later." Gabriel suggested.

"I know he is taking long, but we came here as a family, so we are going to leave as a family." Bas's father said with a sigh, he left us inside the council hall again.

"I know grandfather, he is going to hold conversations with all the vamps there he knows, and even make new friends too." Lyn said with a small smile.

"He's really a social butterfly." Matteo nodded in agreement.

"Let's just wait for him alright." Bas's mother said softly and everyone kept mute, Bas clutched my hands and kept tickling my sides, I was surpressing my giggles.

I stilled immediately I felt a cool air hit me, it was like that of Bas's ex girlfriend Mariá, I looked up and I felt Bas hold my hands tighter, it was the councilman who took us here that came out, with anger etched on his face, I knew he was mad about the rulling not going according to his plans, I saw Mariá come closer to him and they were discussing staring at us.

Hello walked closer and I gripped Bas's hands, shifting closer to me, Bas pulled me into a hug enveloping me completely.

"Don't think you've had the last laugh, I'll make sure I'll get you, in anyway I can." The councilman said.

"Take your Loose in peace and stop being a sore looser." Bas's mother said surprising everyone, we turned to her and she just shrugged.

The councilman left with Mariá, who kept giving me a weird look.

We all heaved a sigh of relief when we saw Bas's father and grandfather come out of the council building.

"I'm sorry for keeping you all waiting." Bas's Grandfather said softly.

"Let's go." Bas's father said and Bas grabbed me and sped off, and turned and I saw everyone speeding off too.

Bas didn't stop at the outskirts of their castle when we reached, he took me straight to the room.

"You don't want to be questioned?" I asked him with a small smile.

"Damn right I don't," he smirked taking my hands with him he signaled to the bathroom and I could feel my cheeks go red immediately, he laughed, "we're not doing that," he replied with a smirk, "I just want us to shower together then we rest, so we could go over to our apartments." He said and I nodded,but I could still feel the blush on my cheeks.

I sighed when I remembered that I was going to return to my real life or other life soon, the Sequin area was still in good hands, and our apartments were there.

We showered quickly, and I dozed off immediately I landed on the bed, I was really tired from the journey back and forth the council.

The journey back to the Sequin area was swift, Bas dropped me off my apartment and drove down to his.

I sighed as I opened the door, it was still the way I left it, I opened my phone and went to my socials immediately, Lyn had been handling it so far.

I smiled when I saw she only replied work related emails and texts and no personal one.

They were lots of texts, mostly from fans, I was shocked at my Instagram followers increase and also my twitter followers increase.

I paused as I saw a mail with a title; "Our Fanbase name."

I opened it and saw a message;

"We've gathered together on social media platforms and thought of a name to give ourselves as your fans as other fans have them, we couldn't think of something with your name in it, so we thought of names that'll suit your personality, you can pick whichever you like best, and we'll also show you the rank of what we liked best, when you're done picking.

Dazzlers- as dazzling as your smile.

Lovelys- As lovely as you are.

Iconics- As iconic as you.

Lillies- A beautiful flower which suits you and us all.

Daisies- A beautiful flower which suits you and us all."

I smiled when I finished reading through the message, I didn't like Lovelys or Iconics, and Dazzlers sounded nice, but I loved how Lillies and Daisies sounded, it was nice and pleasing to the ears, I couldn't even believe I was even popular, that I now had a fanbase, I remember that I was also part of many fanbases, as I liked some popular people, which included vamps too now, I smiled thinking of how I fancied Bas before working for EBC, his Fans were identified as "Hotties" and I blushed when I realized that I was a very lucky fan to even have him with me.

I sent an email back to the fan who sent it;

"Hi, I just had a little time and I'm back to the city today, so I like Daisies and Lillies best, so anyone between the two will work with me."

I smiled when I felt asleep, it was nice to know I had people who looked up to me now, I was going to be the best person for them.

Rushing to work knowing I had a file to submit made me run out early, I saw my neighbours up early, I waved to them and drove off.

Waving to the new security man I found at the entrance, he smiled at me waving back, I was already late and behind time and I slept off today, I prayed for the elevator to open immediately, so I could reach my department floor.

"Welcome Miss Raina." I turned to the voice and realised it was Jared our department security man.

"Good morning to you," I said and he chuckled, I turned to my wrist watch and realized it was afternoon, I was extremely late, "good afternoon I mean." I said and he waved me off, I ran to my seat sending the file to the company's mail immediately.

"You're late, we were waiting for the designs, just because you're giving opportunities and you have a load of fans now doesn't mean you have the right to behave anyhow you like, we have lots of celebrities here, models, and many more, our CEO is a very big celebrity too,and he doesn't behave this way." Mrs Rudolph the new head of department who Lyn told me has been refuting the fact that I was not in the main office for two weeks, it was obvious she was out to get me.

"I'm sorry but I'm not a robot, I was given this work last night immediately I came back from working, I'm not the only person who works here, so I shouldn't be subjected to being the only person who should do important things, there are other workers here." I said softly, I was agitated, but I didn't want to raise my voice, I had other plans and I wasn't going to let someone else ruin them for me.
