Sebastien's POV.
I looked up at everyone and they were all facing me, waiting for the next speech I was going to make.
I looked over to the place the share holders sat and I saw them pin their gaze to me.
"I also want to thank my planning and management team, they did well to pull up a plan that could make this day a success." I said.
"I want to thank the control team, I mean without their cross-checking, we won't even go through with some of the plans here."
"I want to thank my design team, I don't know what I'll do without them." I looked to the direction of the design team and I saw Raina smile and the other members did too.
"I want to thank everyone working here, y'all made this festival possible."
"I want to thank the citizens of Pineville, and every other town and country that came, this was successful because of you." I said.
I was getting tired of doing this, but I had to do it.
"Lastly, I want to thank my best friend who is also my personal manger, my cousin and my personal secretary, who helps me in every time I need him, he's the best support I could ask for, I want to thank him for helping this be a success." I said and Gabriel smiled people that knew him turned to him and clapped.
"You're all welcome to shop and use our services we give and render in EBC." I added.
I was about to step down from the podium when I heard the positive reaction and claps, but I had an eerie feeling that something was coming up next and it was going to be crazy.
I winced when the lights became a little too high and there were flashes everywhere, squinting slightly, I turned to the podium facing everyone, I saw the reporters already at the front line with their desk, cameras and mics waiting for me.
"We have lots of questions for you." One said, I looked down and saw the news station he worked for, it was the same one that attacks my company at every chance they got.
"Who is the new designer you have working for you and what's your relationship with her?" He asked.
"Uhm." I paused, I knew they Will ask personal or off putting questions, but I wasn't ready for it yet.
I looked to the side and saw my uncle smile, he must have planned this. The other shareholders sitting close to him were smirking.
I couldn't loose my cool here, so I relaxed slightly and thought about her, her face, her voice and everything in me became relaxed.
"She's an employee, and I've had employees, so why the questions?" I threw back calmly.
"We've seen photos of both of you together, during the trip." Another said.
"Is she the reason you disappointed everyone and cancelled the festival last week?" The first reporter asked again.
"I went for a business trip with part of my planing and management team which includes, my sister, my cousin, and her ." I said.
