Escort Quest: Part 3

{A day has passed now and we luckily haven't encountered any monsters yet. Lady Lyla is asleep because she used all her mana trying to do combat type magic.}

[I can feel three no... ten entities following us, they must be the people sent by other nobles to stop us from reaching the academy. I'll deal with you quietly since Lady Lyla is currently sleeping, I don't want to wake her up from a loud ability.]

"Quietly get on the carriage and take the noble, I'll deal with her escort since he looks like a brat." - Assassin Leader

"Wait... where did everybody go?" - Assassin Leader

[While the assassin leader was looking, a black spike emerged from his shadow piercing him from the bottom to the top.]

"[Shadow Arts: Dark Pierce]" - Angel

"With me, Lady Lyla is the safest in the world." - Angel

"Hmm, who are you talking to?" - Lyla while she rubs her eyes from just waking up

"Oh sorry, did I wake you up? You can take back your rest again, I won't be noisy." - Angel

'To think those nobles would go as far as to send assassins.' - Angel

{Night had came, we stopped so that the driver can take his rest while I stay awake but it seems some monsters plans to take us as dinner.}

"Angel, I'm scared, I can feel a dark and murky energy in coming from the forest." - Lyla says while she hugs my arm

"Don't worry lady Lyla, with me here your safe, I'll take care of it for a sec..." - Angel

{I stepped out of the carriage and it seems that the driver is really dead asleep. As soon as I stepped out, a being resembling a demon jumped out to me.}

"[Inferno Arts: Fire Blaze]" - Angel

{The demon was set on fire with black flames, flames that never dies until it completely burns the being into ashes. I have the normal fire which is color orange, a hotter flame which is color blue, and my strongest flames which is colored black. I used my black flame just to see how it looks in real life.}

{Lyla watches the demon through the window inside the carriage as it burns completely to ash, getting astonished with my power. I surrounded the carriage with a protective formation that can atleast kill low-leveled demons back in the game.}

{We had continued our journey as soon the sun has risen.}

<Three days passed>

{We've reached the EverGlades Forest, a forest abundant with mana, a perfect habitat for monsters and a place where magicians can fully execute their magic without worrying about mana exhaustion.}

"Lady Lyla and sir Angel, this as far I can take you." - Driver

"Wait, but we haven't even reached the academy yet." - Angel

"This is the instructions given to us by the head of the academy, that once the carriages reach the EverGlades Forest, nobles are to continue by foot." - Driver

"Its okay, I can walk from here, thank you mister for bringing us here." - Lyla Astallon

"Its my pleasure miss Lyla, I shall depart now, I wish you two to reach the academy." - Driver

{The driver had left with the carriage.}

"The academy is at the centermost of the forest, lets quickly move to avoid any monsters." - Angel
