Chapter 1 Alex Frisky Missy Wednesday at 9:30 pm

It was a busy night at the Frisky Missy. People shouting, laughing, and also crying from god know what. Every table had someone trying to hook up or drown their emotions in liquor, except the man sitting closer to the far wall in my section. He was taller than most men I have seen, taller than me even if I was wearing shoes that gave me an extra inch.

When I started to walk to the man, a group of girls stopped in front of him. I could not tell what they were saying because I stopped walking and looked at the group. Then, one of the girls laughed at the man trying anything to make her words sound sweet.

"Hey, Alex!" yelled a man behind me.

"Ya," I yelled back as I turned to see the man behind me. He was the store owner, also a family friend, Franklin Jackson. Most people call him Frank for short, even though he tries to act like he is in his twenties.

"Why the fuck are you just standing there!" Frank yelled, Making him sound pissed at something.

"Ya, Ya!" I murmured as I waved my hand, telling him I didn't care about his shit. Every sow often, he gets pissed like this. He always thinks he has a giant dick in the club.

When I finished waving at Frank, I turned around to look where the man was sitting. The girls were not at the table and laughing at what the man said. Instead, the man was sitting alone, looking at the band playing on the stage.

I started to walk to the man, this time not stopping. When I got to the man, his face looked perfect; his beard was short, his hair was cut short on the sides with the front pulled back with gel. Also, his eyes were dark green, almost looking like emeralds. "fuck his hot," I thought to myself before speaking to him.

"May I ask why you're just staring at me," the man murmured as he turned to look at me with a cold face with no emotion but a dark aura around him.

"I'm sorry," I smiled as I started to blush a little bit from embarrassment when I looked at the man's cold stare, "I just never seen you here before."

"This is my first time here," the man said with a deep voice, making it sound like he was a villain from a thriller, but his voice just made his look even hotter.

"May I get you anything to drink, sir," I said, trying to hide the look of me scanning every little detail of him.

"So you are a waiter," said the man as he finally smiled, making me shiver a little from how his smile was not as dark as his presents were.

"Yes, I am," I smiled again, hoping he would just let me leave, so I can get my shit together when I see him again.

"You're a little different from the others," the man laughed a little as he continued smiling at me, this time showing his perfect white teeth.

"What do you mean," I faked a laugh as I checked to see if there was anything on my clothes. The clothes I don't wear normally were different than the ones I prefer to wear because I was trying to make myself look like a girl. So that's how I got more tips, but it was always uncomfortable to wear.

"It's nothing," the man laughed as he shook his head, making his hair move a little, showing that the gel was fading from having it on all day, "I will have a beer, any work for me."

"Got it, be right back," I smiled as I started to walk away to the bar on the other side of the room.

As I walked to the bar, Frank talked to the barkeep, who was the same age as me. Even though he turns twenty-six next month, he was nice to everyone, even if they were dumbass' sometimes. "Hey, Steve!" I yelled when I reached the bar, "Frank, if you want me to work, stop talking."

"Ya, ya whatever, Alex!" yelled Frank as he smiled at me before leaving to the back where his office was.

"What can I get for ya Alex," said Steve with a smile when he approached, Steve looked a little older than his age with his tan skin and scruffy hair that did not help with his look, but his blue eyes showed this age when they looked a little sad sometimes.

"I need a beer, any beer works," I said as I looked around the bar looking at all the people that we're drinking and laughing at everything. Just seeing them made me feel uncomfortable being near them. I hate when everyone can waste their life's just faking being happy and drinking their emotions away.

"So how is it going so far Alex," Steve smiled as he grabbed a glass and started to fill the cup with beer.

"Another day, another penny," I laughed as I looked at Steve as he finished feeling the cup and handing it to me, "also dressing like this in hell."

"I bet Frank likes his maid outfits," laughed Steve as he looked at me with a smile, "also, it does not help to be you either."

"Ya, ya," I smiled as I flipped him off, knowing that being me meaning 'a man dressed in a maid outfit,' does not help with being comfortable at all, "You know why I do all this."

"Ya, I know," smiled Steve, this time looking more caring, "it's to help get money for your ill sister."

"Ya so I will smile and laugh till I can be free of this place," I said as I faked a smile to show I can do this no matter what so Steve can see I mean business, "even though I'm thankful Frank is letting me do this."

"He loves you like he own kid," murmured Steve as he started to clean the counters when people began to leave, "he would do anything for you."

"He helped my mom raise my sister and me when I was six years old," I said with a genuine smile this time, "even though I'm not his kid, he is my father."

"You better get that drink to the man," laughed Steve as he finished cleaning, "he has been staring at you this whole time."

"oh shit," I said as I looked over my shoulder to see the man staring at me with his dark green eyes, "that damn tan makes those eyes look sexier than ever."

"Ya, ya," murmured Steve as he rolled his eyes at me before he walked away to help a customer.

"Okay, just go to him and tell him you're sorry for the long ass wait," I thought to myself as I grabbed the beer and turned to give him his beer he asked for almost 30 mins ago.
