Unknown encounter

I can see people dancing more passionately as the music changes to the new trendy song.

Though, the club was filled with people I could see my best friend, Erica arriving with a huge smile on her face. As soon as I spotted her I stepped towards her in excitement , wearing my dazzling silver coloured cocktail dress which showed my curves perfectly. Music in the club was too loud for anyone to talk or listen to what other person is saying but I am pretty while hugging me Erica said, "Congrats Astrid, I am so happy for you girl" enthusiastically.

After having a few shots with Erica and few of my friends, I went to the restroom with her.

"I can't believe I finally got hired by such a big company. It feels surreal. " I said to her with a wide smile on my face.

" Yeah, the company is really awesome but.... I have heard that the CEO is smoking hot and besides that he's single." she said with a mischievous grin on her face.

"Have you ever seen him? " I questioned her raising my eyebrows.

"Yeah. "

I gave her that I - know -you -don't - know look as she said that.

"Okay, fine. I have seen him but only on magazines and television but have you ever seen him even in those? " she asked.

"No. You know my personality, right ? I like thrill and I don't know who you were encounters or unknown encounter. " I replied before we both left the restroom.

Just a short while later Erica left with her boyfriend James, wishing me luck and not to forget reminding me about the hot CEO.

As I was about to get myself a drink a man suddenly bumped into me knocking me down. I immediately closed my eyes knowing that I was about to fall when suddenly I felt a pair of muscular arms around my waist pulling me forward. When I opened my eyes I saw a man standing in front of me holding my waist, our chest glued to each other and our lips just one inch away from a kiss. I awkwardly pulled away as I know I can resist everything except for temptation. The man standing in front of me resemble the figure of Greek God who has just came down from Olympus. He seems deadly handsome with his shinning brown hair , big brown eyes, sharp jawline and his killer personality. Although, he's wearing his coat I can bet that he has solid abs and strong biceps.

" Are you alright? " he asked me in his bold manly yet sweet voice.

I nodded " Yes, I am fine. Thanks for helping me. "

" Actually I should be thankful that you were about to fall" he said.

I looked at him confused.

" because of this I got a chance to talk to a beautiful lady like you" he said. Clearing flirting with me.

" That was chessy." I said looking at him.

"But I won't change the fact that you are beautiful."

I chuckled at his so called compliment.

He sat next to me in the bar with this elbow on the drink counter and hand on his cheek looking at me with his gorgeous eyes.

"What would you like young lady?" the bartender asked.

"Sex on beach, please." I ordered.

" And what for you young man? " bartender asked him.

" Same as the beautiful lady in front of me ordered. And the bill is on me"

During this whole conversation he started at me without even looking anywhere.

" No, thanks. I can pay my own bills." I said with a firmness in my tone.

"It's my first time when a lady refused me to pay. " he said in quite a suprised tone.

"It seems like you have a habit of paying for other people drinks." He chuckled at my words.

"So, what's your name? " he asked.

"And why should I tell you this?" I said in a playful tone.

"My name is Arthur "he said looking at me.

"Astrid".

After a short flirty conversation I realized we have a lot in common.

"You are beautiful, Astrid just like your name. " he said in a drunken state.

" You are na....not bad either ." I replied knowing fully well that alcohol has taken control of me.

The next morning when I woke up I realized I had a terrible headache and just when I opened my I eyes I found myself in an unfamiliar place without my clothes in the bed with my head on Arthur 's chest.

"Oh, no. I need to leave " I said to myself.

But before leaving I left a note for Arthur telling it was my first time and if we meet again then I'll consider it as a sign of universe that he was the one as for me it was love at first sight.

2 days have passed since that incident and today is Monday. I am at my new company with few newcomers like me. A girl came towards me with a boy. She introduced herself as Jessica and him as Kevin. Kevin is handsome and Jessica is a chatterbox .

As we were talking the CEO suddenly entered the room and everyone went quiet and looked at him.

When I looked at him I was shocked

"Arthur " I said to myself.

My CEO is my one night stand.
