Ch.032 => A new engagement? Does his family own a marriage bureau? First his sister, now him!!

Zhang Wei stopped overthinking and came out of his delusion. He had to focus on the present to make the future more desirable. The Audi RS70 entered the courtyard and stopped in front of a beautiful fountain illuminated with a statue of a mermaid and blue lights.

Munki opened the door to help Zhang Wei get out of the car. He got out and walked inside the mansion. Upon entering, a man approached him. The man was tall with a white beard and grey hair. He was wearing a black suit with a white shirt inside and high pants with black shoes. It was night time, and the man was wearing sunglasses inside the house. He came and opened his mouth.

"Young Master Zhang Wei, Master Hun is asking for you in his study," the man said with a high pitch tone. Zhang Wei looked at his face and remembered who he was from his former memories.

The man was named Hu An. He was the personal secretary, driver, and bodyguard of his father. He was basically another professional and experienced version of Munki. Hu An always showed a neutral reaction to all of his family members. He never showed any favor nor any disagreement with them, as he did with former Zhang Wei.

"Okay, let's go!" Zhang Wei said. But when he spoke, his tone was different from what Hu An remembered. Therefore, he showed a reaction for a split second before going back to his usual poker face. Former Zhang Wei was always timid in front of confident people who expressed a great aura. That was the reason why Hu An thought of making revisions about Zhang Wei in his thoughts.

"Please follow me," Hu An said, showing the same respect he shows to every Zhang family member. Zhang Wei nodded and followed him upstairs to his father's study room. Upon reaching the door to the study room, Zhang Wei adjusted his clothes and took a deep breath.

Hu An knocked on the door.

The same authoritative voice came from the other end. "Come inside!" Zhang Wei's father spoke in a soft, hard pitch.

Hu An opened the door for Zhang Wei and asked him to go inside. Munki was still behind him, following him upstairs. When Munki was about to go in, Hu An blocked him.

"Only Young Master Zhang Wei is invited!" he said, blocking Munki with his single arm. Even the strong Munki couldn't do anything to Hu An.

"Munki, you wait outside," Zhang Wei spoke, instructing him not to create any scene with Hu An. Munki nodded and stood outside. Hu An closed the door from outside and let Zhang Wei go inside.

Inside the study room, Zhang Wei's father was still on the same chair he saw him a few days ago. He was sitting as he checked through some files on his desk. Zhang Wei went and greeted his father.

"Good evening, Father!" Zhang Wei said in a soft tone, but he also maintained a confident posture.

His father looked at him from one eye and gestured for him to take a seat, an opportunity for him to sit in front of his desk.

"Thank you, Father!" Zhang Wei said, taking a seat. His father kept the files he was looking at down and spoke to him.

Zhang Wei maintained his posture and sat up straight. He didn't know why he was called, he only hoped it was something he didn't expect.

His father looked at him and smiled briefly before passing him a brown envelope. The envelope contained a few papers and a picture. Zhang Wei looked puzzled about the envelope.

"What's inside, father?" he asked.

Zhang Wei's father didn't say anything. He simply sat back in his chair and gestured for him to open the envelope.

Zhang Wei nodded and anxiously opened the seal. A paper filled with someone's information came out. Zhang Wei looked puzzled, did his father want him to do some blackmailing again? he thought.

"Zhang Wei!" his father called. Zhang Wei sat up straight and listened to his words. "A few days ago, I went to meet your grandfather. I told him about you and your siblings. He was surprised to see your progress in such a short time. Therefore, when he heard your previous fiancée called off the engagement, he personally picked out a candidate for you. That's the picture and information about your new fiancée, Jin Nuwa," his father said.

He was happy with your changing attitude, therefore he chose her. She is the granddaughter of his long-lived secretary. She also studies in your school in the same grade. Be good to her," his father said.

"Zhang Wei, listen, it might sound rushed. But your grandfather always wanted someone from our family to marry his secretary's granddaughter because of promises he made. But most of the kids from the Zhang Wei family already had partners from a young age due to business reasons. When your engagement was called off, grandfather had already made this decision," his father informed him. While speaking of Zhang Wei's grandfather, his father showed respect and a shine in his eyes.

From what Zhang Wei could remember from his former memories, he never actually met his grandfather, but he does remember getting gifts from him every year. The Audi RS70 was also gifted to him by his grandfather.

"Father, I have to agree to this, right?" Zhang Wei asked, forcing a smile. His father laughed at him and spoke.

"You have to, Zhang Wei. If you have anything to say, you can speak to your grandfather during his birthday party next week," his father said, mentioning the upcoming birthday party. From what he remembered, he was never invited to his grandfather's birthday party. Does he have an invitation now?

"I can come?" he asked.

"Obviously, you can. Every year you reject your invitation, but this year you have to come. Father also arranged a meeting with your fiancée at that time," his father said.
