Crystal Glazed Pack

Life has always been very tough and painful , and I don't even know if it will ever change .

Since childhood, I have never been happy and that has made me forget how to smile.

I really hate the life am living but because of the promise I made to a special someone, I'm not able to end this pathetic life of mine.

My name is Adelaide Reele, the infamous omega of my pack and also the most pitiful human existing on the planet earth.

My dad died even before I was born and mom also left five years after my birth. Mom was really the joy of my existence.

Mom gave me everything I ever wanted . I lived as a princess and I was pampered to the moon and back.

But one thing I knew and hated was the tears and pain of my loving mother. She always cried in secret when she missed my dad.

She thought I didn't know but she was rather the ignorant one . Being a 5 years old child, my brain was too old for my age, but I preferred to act childishly when mom was around.

I knew that she missed and longed for my father's love very much and that's what caused her early and untimely death.

Mom was a very stunning woman and I inherited her features making me an enchanting beauty .

To avoid unnecessary disturbance from boys, she gave me a disguise from childhood and warned me never to remove the disguise until I meet the person who will be able to protect and love me in the future.

On her deathbed, she encouraged me and told me never to give up on this life for at the end of every tunnel, there is light.

Her death really broked me . My life turned dark , all happiness and sweetness evaporated from my lonely life.

I then came to realise that life wasn't a fairytale as I always thought but rather life is full of bitterness ,sorrow and hardship for those without protectors and loved ones.

After mom died, my whole concept of the world changed. I became the object of bullying for everyone in the pack.

I became the omega of the pack and my work was to do all the dirty chores in the pack.It was later that another omega joined me.

Her name is Stacy, who's now my only friend and family. She's also an orphan but she's bubbly and optimistic.

She still believes that there's goodness in this world and her time will come very soon , but she knows I don't share the same believe with her.

Ade, Ade hurry up and come with me to the kitchen okay. Dinner is over, let's go and do the dishes before we receive punishment for being late, Stacy's voice breaks me from my thoughts.

Okay I'm coming, I get up and open the door for Stacy . We change into our working attire and leave for our working post with our head down to avoid receiving glares of disgust from the pack members.

We walk swiftly into the kitchen and start work asap. Hey , it seems you are down today, what's disturbing my pretty queen, Stacy asked.

Am not down dear, but rather am tired of living . I was just thinking about the past and also my parents.

I wish they were alive to show me to show me love and care as other children are enjoying.

I know I would never suffer like this if they were alive and my life would have moved on smoothly.

Ade, you don't have to always be sad. I know that our lives will change very soon when we meet our mates.

They will change our living for the better, so don't take what's happening to heart. I know the moon goddess will not fail us when it comes to our mates.

We will get mates who will make us the queen of their hearts just to compensate us for all that we have been through, she said whiles smiling .

I chuckled and focused on my work without taking what she said to mind because, I have already lost hope in love.

We finished our job quickly and left for our room. After we took our bath, Stacy held my hand and advised me as the loving big sister she is.

Ade, I know you don't believe that something good can come out of our situation, but what you have to know is that , Life is a roller-coaster.

It moves in circles, so I know that one day, our circle of happiness will locate us. Please don't lose hope okay, all will be well, she said and patted my back.

I smiled at her and thanked her for her advice and we went to straight to bed after that.
