Chapter 3

Three years have passed.

Zues and Czeya were still in a relationship. Despite their difficulties, their relationship remained strong. For three years, Galaxie had constantly been pretending to be Zues' girlfriend.

Galaxie seemed to be having fun while playing along. She loved everything, especially whenever she irritates Czeya by impersonating her. She's an evil witch. They haven't been kind to one another since the fire between them was ignited. Instead, their dispute grew more heated.

They were like dogs and cats.

Nonetheless, Galaxie was a very good friend to Zues, to the point that she was willing to give her life for her best friend. They were really close, and she was true to him. However, when it comes to Czeya, the wind appears to be blowing in a different direction. She could not picture herself getting along with her best friend's girlfriend, Czeya. She regarded Czeya as an impediment to her friendship with Zues.

"Oh, Galaxie, don't tell me you're coming with us on our date?" Czeya scoffed, emphasizing the words 'OUR DATE.'

Galaxie simply shrugged and rolled her eyes, smirking. She would surely stick with them even on their dates if it meant annoying Czeya. "What if I say yes, I'll come, and what are you going to do about it?" the monster chuckles within her grew once more. She had been bothering Czeya for three years. She is, in fact, a virus in their relationship.

Czeya's forehead furrowed as she put both of her hands on her waist, "Will you please quit being a cuckoo-brained? Find your own boyfriend and have a date with him," she said and let out a sigh.

Galaxie's lips formed another sneer, "I truly have a boyfriend, and that is Zues," she teased her once more. She struggled to contain her laughter.

Czeya's nostrils and ears were almost smokey from her sudden rage. "Snake!" she yelled as she was about to tweak Galaxie when Zues stepped in.

Zues snatched their arms and growled, "What are you doing?! Isn't there truly a day when the two of you won't fight?! When will that happen?! If you won't stop, then make yourselves in a relationship. I quit!"

For a few seconds, the girls were deafeningly quiet. Czeya scowled at Galaxie, but all she got back was a smirk, what a demon. Galaxie has a knack for destroying her mood.

Czeya triumphed in the end nevertheless. With the exception of Galaxie, she went on a date with Zues.

They were incredibly affectionate and close to one another, and it was clear they adored one another dearly. They both knew they were meant to be together. They have the sensation that their heart only beats for the same thing. They felt that they were born for each other.

The only issue was that… they were cousins.

They couldn't even declare their love to the entire world. They knew their relationship was wrong in everyone's eyes, yet they couldn't stop themselves because they loved one other so deeply. Their relationship has become so important to them that it has become their lives.

They were unconcerned even if they would not fit into the world that we knew. What was important to them was that they fit into the world they had built. A world devoid of norms and conventions.

After a few months, Galaxie and Zues became more intimate with each other, and they became closer than ever. Czeya was nervous knowing how close Galaxie and Zues were getting. What if Zues fell for her? What if something happens to them while she's not around? JUST what if?

Czeya had faith in Zues, but not in that woman. If only Czeya could remove Galaxie in their lives, she would have done that right away, but it's impossible.

Galaxie had the breadth of their relationship. She has had the ability to demolish their relationship like a piece of cake. It was a good thing Galaxie didn't tell anybody about her phoney relationship with Zues, even though she and Czeya didn't always get along.

"I want to visit Zues," Czeya came up with a thought while having herself on their terrace with her hot chocolate. She finished her drink and prepared herself. She has no schedule today, it means, it won't be a trouble if she stays with Zues for too long this day. And besides, she misses him.

When she arrived at Zues' place, no shadow of him was spotted. He was not there, he didn't even say a word to her and even to his parents. They didn't know where he went.

"Who are you?" a woman's voice appeared at her back.

Czeya turned her gaze to the woman who came out of Zues' room, frowning at her. Why was that woman in her boyfriend's room? Who the hell she is?

"I'm Czeya Viltrae, I'm the girl—" she was not able to continue what she was saying when the woman suddenly spoke and cut her words out.

"Oh my gosh! It's you, cousin! Finally, we've met!" The woman said with full of excitement on her voice, and she immediately hugged Czeya. Like a fluffy human-sized teddy bear.

Seriously, Czeya was clueless why that woman hugged her all of the sudden. She just frowned and smiled compulsively.

"My older brother, Zues, talked so much 'bout you. By the way I'm Maxi," she introduced herself as she extended her hand to have a shake hand.

Czeya had a shake-hands with her. She was amazed and shocked. Zues didn't tell her that he has a sister, and neither did her aunt and uncle. Over all, she didn't know she had a cousin apart from Zues. All she thought was that Zues was an only child. Fortunately, Czeya was not able to say that she is Zues' girlfriend.

Zues family was indeed a good keeper of secrets.

Afterwards, Czeya and Maxi talked a lot about everything, and they forgot about the clock. They both liked each other, they have the same passion, have the same vibe, they even laughed at each other's jokes.

Maxi grew up with her grandfather in America. She was there since 1st year of her existence. Czeya's parents knew about Maxi, and everybody knows about her, only except for her. She thought maybe because she didn't ask a lot about her other cousins and relatives. Even so, she was still upset with Zues for not telling it. They had a lot of time together but he didn't even mention about his sister.

"My gosh, it's already 6:30 pm. He's not home yet!" Maxi complained while looking at the wristwatch, she was talking about Zues.

"Yeah right, he's not even answering my calls," said Czeya pouted, realizing how many times she contacted him.

"Be ready, we'll go after him," Maxi took their parents' car key and went straight to the garage.

Czeya followed her with a frown on her forehead, "Are you serious? We don't know where he is."

Maxi just gave a wink as she unleashed her grin, "I have him," she said and then she showed her cellphone to Czeya. A map was on its screen, and it has a triangle in the middle of it, indicating that Zues was on that area.

Czeya's jaw just dropped because of amazement. "Wow! You are so techy!" she complemented.

They hurried inside the car, and went to where that triangle was. Czeya was shocked at how Maxi drove the car. Was she a racer? She played the wheel so well! My goodness. Maxi was giving her a lot of surprises.

"A bar?" she let out a question in surprise as Maxi pull over in front of a bar.

"Zues is in there," Maxi definitely said.

They then didn't hesitate to enter. The place was so noisy, with dancing and dimming lights. Czeya patted her chest as her heartbeat increased. At the counter area, they found Galaxie putting a drink in a glass. And the both of them were shocked when they saw Zues sitting right next to Galaxie, he looked so drunk!

Czeya's anger aroused immediately, to the point that it was impossible to explain how angry she was. She walked towards them without hesitation and overturned the glass with the drink in it. "B*tch!" She couldn't control herself anymore.
