PROSE MODE.
Kristyn shut her door behind her and dived into her bed. It felt so nice to be back on the soft plushie, she turned on the water heater and took out the handout from her bag.
Skimming through it, she had vaguely four months till graduation so she wanted to make this project top the line amongst all her previous ones.
She thought maybe her reply to Melody earlier might have been too unnerving. She knew Melody meant well but she hated the aspect of love exists and that she should start believing in marriage. Having mates was just a facade that you may have a fated one out there, people like her and her father never had mates.
But that wasn't even what rattled her the most, it's the fact that those good-for-nothing bastards still decide to fall in love and date around, only to dump their partners when their damn mates just happen to stroll into their lives.
