In a few minutes, Li Zi Yun saw Wu Li Shu walking towards her with a smile. Wu Li Shu was dragging along a confused Chu Yan. Li Zi Yun was relieved only when she saw Wu Li Shu show her a thumbs up as she came closer to her. Chu Yan was looking pitiful as Wu Li Shu did not let him stay still for a second.

Before Wu Qing could open his mouth, Wu Li Shu said, "Brother don't forget your sisters sacrifice for your entire life"

Wu Qing was in no mood for jokes, "What is happening here?"

Wu Li Shu did not bother answering him, "Don't get shocked no matter what I say and support me wholeheartedly"

"What are you talking about? What is he (Wu Qing pointed at Chu Yan) doing here? What the…"

Wu Li Shu continued speaking as if there was no disturbance, "Most importantly don't let anyone speak and change the topic to your wedding. Then everything will be ruined"

The situation finally made sense to Chu Yan, he started speaking, "Is that why…"

But Wu Li Shu closed Chu Yan's mouth with her hand not allowing him to speak.

Li Zi Yun said coolly, "We will go in first and you enter after five minutes"

Li Zi Yun dragged her husband and Wu Qing to the private room leaving Wu Li Shu and Chu Yan outside. As soon as Wang Yiran saw Li Zi Yun entering, she was patting the seat next to her looking at Li Zi Yun. But thankfully Wang Yu sat next to Wang Yiran in the empty seat saving Li Zi Yun from trouble.

Wang Yiran's face was glowing brightly now after seeing Wu Qing. But Zhao Ming Mei did not show much reaction in her face. she had eyes only for Wang Yu.

Elder Mrs. Zhao looked at Li Zi Yun and said kindly, "You're in the early stages of your pregnancy. You should not roam about much and take care of your health. That is the most important thing now. Wang Yu is this how you take care of your wife?"

Wang Yu said with a smile, "Thank you for the advice, Aunty Zhao. Even I didn't want her to travel a lot but someone wouldn't listen to me"

Wang Yu looked at his mother pointedly as he said this. To his surprise, Wang Yu saw Wang Yiran and Zhao Ming Mei in a staring contest. Wang Yiran and Zhao Ming Mei had been quite close before the coma and even in the party, Wang Yu saw Wang Yiran treating Zhao Ming Mei in a very friendly manner. Now they were staring at each other as if they were the worst of enemies.

Mrs. Wu asked Li Zi Yun, "Where is Li Shu?"

Li Zi Yun replied calmly, "She said she will back soon. I wonder why she hasn't come back yet"

Li Zi Yun lied without batting an eye and Wang Yu and Wu Qing were looking at her with their mouth wide open. Just now they saw Li Zi Yun and Wu Li Shu planning everything outside but now Li Zi Yun was pretending as if she knew nothing.

Mrs. Wu said cheerfully, "Let's all eat first"

In exactly five minutes as they had planned, Wu Li Shu entered the private room with Chu Yan.

Wu Li Shu spoke loudly to grab everyone's attention, "Mom I have to talk to you in private"

Mrs. Wu was looking from Wu Li Shu to Chu Yan. Wu Li Shu was holding a bouquet in one hand and Chu Yan was holding her other hand. When Mrs. Wu did not move, Wu Li Shu showed her hand.

Wu Li Shu was gleaming, "Mom I'm engaged. Chu Yan proposed to me just now"

Chu Yan was wondering, 'When the hell did I propose to her?'

Li Zi Yun could not control her laughter when she heard this. Chu Yan was trying hard to keep a straight face. In the five minutes they were waiting outside, Wu Li Shu had explained something to him but still Chu Yan had no idea what was really happening here. He looked around and saw three families present and he was wondering what was going on.

Wu Li Shu had asked Chu Yan to come quickly and when she was alone with him, she had directly proposed to him. She did not give him a chance to speak a word. Wu Li Shu had forced a ring onto Chu Yan's finger and she put the matching couple ring on her finger too. If Mrs. Wu asked him, Chu Yan had no idea what he was supposed to say. Everyone was looking at Wu Li Shu and Chu Yan and he felt oddly uncomfortable.

Mrs. Wu could only say, "what?"

Li Zi Yun opened her mouth to speak but froze there unable to say a word. No one had noticed the door opening after listening to Wu Li Shu. Standing near the door was Mrs. Chu, Chu Yan's mother. Looking at Li Zi Yun's reaction, everyone turned towards the direction where she was looking out. Seeing Mrs. Chu, both Wu Li Shu and Chu Yan were freaked out. Wu Li Shu's confidence was completely gone now.

Mrs. Chu was quite surprised when she saw three families gathered in the private room. Mrs. Wu was in a tight spot now. Mrs. Chu had entered the room seeing Wu Li Shu dragging Chu Yan there. She was a bit curious but she had not expected the three families to be dining there and Chu Yan was standing there holding Wu Li Shu's hands.

Li Zi Yun mouthed to Wu Li Shu, "You're so dead now"
